"CAN'T YOU PEOPLE walk any faster?" Ichimatsu said, irritated as he walked ahead of Karamatsu and Todomatsu. He let out a sigh as the two caught up."What exactly is the story?" Karamatsu asked, walking quickly beside him. Todomatsu quickly hurried to them, not wanting to be left alone. He thought he heard something and turned, scared. Nothing that he could see. Although Karamatsu had a lamp in his hand.
"To summarize it, some bitch named Osomatsu was a cunt, total cunt by the way, and decided to take over an angel that didn't do anyone any wrong. Like, seriously? Fuck off. Motherfuckin' demons and shit," Ichimatsu explained.
"I see," Karamatsu nodded, as if understanding. Todomatsu just stared. I have no idea what he just said, he thought to himself. Again, he turned behind him, getting a bit paranoid of his surroundings. The wind blew lightly, and it felt like a whisper brushed against his ears which sent chills down his spine.
Suddenly, he fell over. What? He hadn't even tripped, it was like he walked into a wall.
Wait. .
Todomatsu put a hand in front of him. There was some sort of barrier, keeping him bound by the church. The other two didn't seem to notice and kept walking. The ghost, though, began to freak out and scream for them.
"Karamatsu! Karamatsu! Karamatsu! AAH! Ohhhh, Jesus, ohhhhhh, mercy me, ohhhhhhh, I'm gonna die. Karamatsu! Karamatsu!! Ichimatsu?! Hey! Guys!"
Todomatsu did not stop for a few seconds. Karamatsu stopped and heard his name being called. "Where's Todomatsu?" he asked no one in particular.
"Huh?" Ichimatsu stopped.
"Karamatsu!"
"Totty. . ." Karamatsu broke running back, trying to find the source of the sound. He heard it again, and echo in the woods. The priest was sure he was at where he'd last recalled seeing Todomatsu, but his friend was nowhere to be found. Had he gone on his own? That'd make it difficult.
Ichimatsu sigh again, annoyed once more. He paused when he sensed a supernatural presence. Not Todomatsu's but something that felt more sinister. . .
He gasped slightly when he realized who it was.
* * *
Todomatsu hugged himself on the ground, extremely frightened. Surely Karamatsu would come looking for him, right? He turned every few seconds with panic laced in his thoughts. Sure, he couldn't die, but something else could happen that he wouldn't want to happen.
"Todomatsu!"
When he heard that sound, he snapped up to attention. Was it Karamatsu? About time you came to save me! Ah! he thought, but was truly thankful. Todomatsu heard it once again, but then he came to realize it wasn't Karamatsu. Or even Ichimatsu for that matter.
"Todomatsu!" said a carefree man wearing civilian clothing. Although he had sandals and something seemed to give off a certain vibe on him. He could almost hear the grin he wore. The ghost turned around and saw a person standing there, hardly making out the figure.
"Todomatsu, right? Ha ha, it's you. Finally. Would you care to follow me?" he asked. The colors on him were light, but his eyes did not match his theme. Red pupils that stood out from more yellow clothes. Todomatsu took a step back. He wasn't sure who this was, but he felt that he should not trust this man.
"Um, I'd rather not," he answered. I'd skip the option in which a stick is shoved up my ass with the promise of candy thanks.
"If you come with me, I'll show you my memories. That is what you want, right?" Todomatsu's eyes widened. He couldn't be serious.
Yet, nonetheless, he gave a bit of a nod. "Splendid! Now, this will be short. And by the end, you'll be left with so many questions I know," he pointed a finger.
"A-Ah, but, who are you? What's your name?" He was immediately cut off right before he finished his sentence.
"Not that! Not yet!" scolded the man. He sighed. "Anyways, it's time. Shall we proceed?"
