It was early in the morning. Several weeks had passed since Bat's incident. He sat on a landing pad and watched the sun rise. He sighs and looks down. The sound of footsteps walking up behind him startle him and he quickly jumps up and grabs a lightsaber that was clipped on his belt. He turns around and sees Chip and Mute walking toward him.

"Oh...it's just you..." He says.

"Yeah...sorry about that." Chip tells him.

"No no. It's fine. I'm just a little jumpy." Bat says.

"Yeah. It's fine." Chip tells him.

"You wanted to see us, sir?" Mute asks.

"Oh yeah...right." Bat says and stands up.

Bat grabs a datapad and holds it up to them. Chip grabs it and shows it to Mute.

"What's this? It's just coordinates to Dantooine." Chip says.

"Exactly. Remember back in the clone war when Zero defected?" Bat asks.

"Yeah." Chip says.

"No. It was reported that he and General Rosalyn were killed in a skirmish on Tatooine." Mute says.

"Quit." Chip tells him.

"That's where he went and defected to, Dantooine." Bat says.

"Why would he go there?" Chip asks.

"Farming." Bat says.

"I see." Mute nods.

"What're we going to do?" Chip asks.

"We're going to pay him a visit." Bat says.

"Alright. Let's go then." Chip says.

Bat nods and the 3 clones make their way over to The Lobster. BS-7 and Bat's R4 unit were waiting for them.

"Hey 7." Bat tells the protocol droid then pats his astromech on the head.

They all take their seats in the cockpit and Bat and Chip lift off. BS-7 and Mute sat behind them with R4 sitting by the door.

"Master Spacespawn, why are we going to Dantooine?" BS-7 asks.

"To find an old friend." Bat tells the droid.

"Oh." The droid says.

"You ready?" Bat asks.

Chip nods to him and the ship makes the jump to light speed toward Dantooine.

"I wonder how Zero's been." Chip says.

"He seemed to really want to go into farming so hopefully his farm's grown a lot." Bat says.

"Yeah." Chip says.

"Why did he defect?" Mute asks.

"He knew about Protocol 66. He couldn't stay there and standby and watch the republic kill itself from the inside out. He couldn't live with himself if he stayed and watched that, knowing that he could've done something about it. He knew he couldn't tell anyone though. He only told Rosalyn, and a few others knew." Bat says.

"I knew." Mute says.

"Blue-Eye, Chex, Mark, Bark, Slash, Firestarter, and a few other men we trusted knew." Bat says.

"Yes sir." Mute says.

"It still bothers me." Chip says.

"What does?" Bat asks.
