Static fills the command center then the sound of a distressed voice comes through.
"Attention! Attention! This is Phoenix 1! We need some help! The empire ambushed us on a supply run! We're being ripped apart! Phoenix 7 look out!" A man yells.
"I can hold it!" A woman yells.
"Behind you!" Phoenix 1 yells.
"I can hol-ACK! ACHHH!" The woman yells then an explosion ends her transmission.
"Somebody! We're being ripped apart!" Phoenix 1 screams.
"Phoenix 1, this is Bat Leader. We read you. Transmit your current coordinates and we'll be there." Bat tells him.
"Thank you Bat Leader! Transmitting coordinates now!" Phoenix 1 yells.
A transmission comes through and Bat and a few others look at it.
"They're near the planet Burnin Konn." Ian says.
"Right. Let's go!" Bat yells and everyone starts running toward their fighters.
"Bat! Need a hand?" Captain Shear asks as he and Bustu walk up.
"Sorry Captain, you've gotta stay here." Bat says as he rune over to his Y-wing with Wesley and the 2 climb inside.
"This is Bat Leader to Bat Squadron, everyone set?" Bat asks as his Y-wing lifts off.
"Check." Ian says as his Y-wing flies after his out of the sinkhole.
The rest of the Squadron soars out of the sinkhole and exits the planet's atmosphere.
"Bat Leader, all wings report in." Bat says.
"Bat 2 standing by." Ian says.
"Bat 4 ssssstanding by." Four hisses.
"This is Bat 5 standing by." Diro says.
"Bat 8 standing by." Torn-Ek says.
"Bat 6 standing by." Breedone says.
"Bat 7 here." Abo says.
"Bat 3." Fernanda says.
"Bat 9, standing by." Rune says.
"Bat 11 standing by." Xan says.
"This is Bat 12...standing by." Derma says.
"Lock in your navicomputer for Burnin Konn." Bat orders.
"Locked in, Bat lead." Four says.
"Copy that. Let's move." Bat says and presses a few buttons before blasting off into hyperspace.
The rest of the Squadron follows him and they soar through hyperspace toward Burin Konn in the Anoat sector.
"Do you think these pilots from Phoenix Squadron will even still be alive?" Four hisses.
"I don't know. I don't want a repeat with Gray Squadron." Bat says.
"Why are you offering to help them? I'm sure there are closer cells that can help them. The whole Anoat sector is filled with disorganized rebel cells and terrorist organizations." Stormer says from the gunner's seat in Four's Y-wing.
"They're probably so disorganized they don't have a way of flying." Xan says.
"Good point." Stormer says.
As time passes they get closer and closer to helping the rebel Squadron. They finally emerge from hyperspace over Burnin Konn where they see a small group of A-wings and a damaged corellian Corvette battling with imperial tie fighters, an imperial light cruiser and a couple of gozanti-class freighters.
