"This is Specter 1, all wings report in." Specter 1 says.
"Specter 4 here." A pilot says.
"Specter 7, standing by."
"Specter 8 standing by."
"Specter 3 standing b-AGHHH!" Specter 3 yells as his Z-95 explodes.
"What the!? Where'd that come from?" Specter 1 asks.
"It came from behind-AGHH!" Specter 8 yells as her fighter is blasted apart.
"I can't see anything!" A pilot yells and looks around.
"My scanners aren't picking up anything!" Specter 4 yells.
4 green streaks tear through his wings and engines and his ship is torn apart.
"Wait! Did you see that?" Specter 7 asks.
"See what?" Specter 1 asks.
"Something faded in and out as it fired on us!" Specter 7 yells.
"Watch out!" A pilot yells and flies behind Specter 1 as a volley of blaster fire flies toward him.
The other pilot who sacrificed himself is blown apart and the other pilots watch as a strange looking TIE fighter fades out of sight.
"What the? A fighter with a cloaking device?" A pilot asks.
"Specter 2, Specter 7, Specter 10, Specter 5, Specter 9, Specter 11 and 6, form up." Specter 1 says.
"Sir!" Specter 10 yells.
3 strange fighters fade into view and they fly toward the convoy of fighters while spinning and firing rapidly at them.
"Evasive action!" Specter 1 yells.
"I'm hiiiit!" Specter 6 yells and explodes.
"Shit!" Specter 9 yells and swerves to avoid being hit by a blaster bolt but spins and smashes into Specter 11, killing both of them.
Specter 2 is killed by a blaster bolt that obliterates her cockpit.
"Specter 5, Specter 7, Specter 10, regroup on me. It's time to go." Specter 1 yells as rapid fire pursues him.
The remaining 4 fighters all regroup and prepare to jump into hyperspace. The blaster fire chases them as they prepare to make the jump.
"Jump!" Specter 1 yells and the 4 fighters fly into hyperspace as the strange ships fire after them.
They emerge from hyperspace and are greeted by 2 X-wings flown by Diro and Breedone.
"This is Bat 5 to Specter 1, where's the rest of your squad?" Diro asks.
"It's gone. We're all that's left." Specter 1 says as they fly down toward the planet.
They land in the hangar and they all climb out of their fighters. Specter 1 looks over at the other 3 pilots from his squadron that walks over.
"Sir..." Specter 7 asks.
"What?" Specter 1 asks.
"What were those things?" Specter 7 asks.
"I...I have no idea..." Specter 1 says.
"Captain Shrein." Bat says walking over.
"Yes sir!" Specter 1 says.
"I want you and Lieutenant Maxxon to come with me and fill out your report." Bat says.
"Yes sir..." Shrein says and motions for Specter 5 to follow.
