"Fresh fruit! Come get your fresh fruit right here! Come on! Somebody! Anybody! Please! I need the money!" A Rodian yells from a stand in the marketplace.
He sighs and sets the fruit down.
"Poodoo!" He yells and kicks a crate behind him and sits down.
"Hey, I'll take some fresh jogans." A man says.
"Huh?" The Rodian asks and stands up.
He looks down to see a short and muscular Selketh looking up at him.
"How many for you, kind sir?" The Rodian asks.
"1..2...3....uh...24." The Selketh says.
"That'll be 235 credits." The Rodian says and he starts packing up some of the purple fruits for the man.
"You got any meilooruns?" The Selketh asks.
"Let me see...ah yes. This is my last one. That'll be 34 credits." The Rodian says and starts packing all the fruits into a crate.
"A couple of those lumpy ones and about 6 of those spiky ones." The Selketh says.
"These?" The Rodian asks and points to one.
"Yeah." The Selketh nods and the Rodian packs all the various fruits into a crate.
"That'll be a total of 658 credits." He tells the Selketh
"Here." The Selketh pays him.
The Rodian counts it up.
"Keep the change." The Selketh says and grabs the crate.
"You sound and look awfully familiar. Do I know you?" The Rodian asks.
"I dunno. Do you?" The Selketh asks and sets the crate down.
They stare at each other.
"No way..." The Rodian says.
"Tennant!" The Selketh yells.
"Taku!" The Rodian screams.
"Why you green bastard!" Taku yells and jumps over the fruit stand and starts attacking Tennant.
"Whoa! Whoa! Calm down! Calm down!" Tennant yells and shoves Taku off.
"You shot me and left me behind when the clones raided our apartment!" Taku screams.
"I know! I know! And I'm sorry! You would've done the same!" Tennant yells.
"Yeah....you're right." Taku says.
"How'd you get out?" Tennant asks.
"Some old friends helped me break out." Taku says.
"Oh yeah? Where are they?" Tennant asks.
"They helped me. I never said they made it out with me. The guards shot them dead." Taku says and chuckles.
"Oh I see." Tennant says.
"Yep. What the hell happened to you? You're standing here selling fucking fruits at overly high prices." Taku says.
"Things have changed. I'm not the same Rodian I was. I'm different. I needed a new way of life." Tennant says.
"What the hell?" Taku asks.
