RING RING
"Hello?" I answered the phone.
"Hey, Wendy! It's Elliot! So, I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date this Saturday at 2:00? Oh, and it's a picnic date so you can wear something casual."
I was buzzing with excitement, but I hid it well.
"Yeah Elliot I'll go." I said nonchalantly.
"Ok see you then?" He asked me expectantly.
"Yeah Elliot see you then!" I exclaimed and then hung up. I pumped my fist in the air and after the phone call with Elliot, I called Madison and asked if we could go shopping to look for some new clothes for the date. I wanted to impress him.
Madison drove us and I found a cute outfit. It was a floral dress and I was going to wear it with a denim jacket and black flats. I tried on the outfit and it looked good. I felt pretty.
When I got back my, Ann (my foster mom) asked me what I was doing with those shopping bags. I told her I was going on a date and she screamed with excitement.
She was so excited that she called a professional makeup and hair artist to style my wig and me when I was about to go on the date.
I loved how she cared and knew that this was special to me. I love my mom. A few days later it was Saturday.
The clock struck 1:30. Elliot texted me that he was coming to pick me up and my dad (Dillion) was crying. He was extremely happy for me.
I heard a knock on the door and it was Elliot. He looked at me, kissed my hand and said I looked beautiful. I smiled and said he looked handsome.
He brought me a daffodil, my favorite flower. It was gorgeous. We drove to the park where the picnic was held at and we had our own reserved section with fairy lights around it and lots of fruit and food.
We sat down and the date started.
