"Elliot, what is she doing here?" I say feeling shocked and confused.
"Carrie, why are you here?" Elliot says while pushing Carrie off.
"Elliot, stop acting like this! You know you love me." Carrie says
Carrie leaves Elliot and walks off. When she walks passes me, she rolls her eyes and flips her hair.
"Wendy, I'm so sorry. She ruins everything! Please forgive me." Elliot begs.
"Elliot, this isn't going to work if she keeps coming around.. How are we supposed to have privacy with her around."
Elliot comes closer to me. I take a step back every time he gets closer. The outside of me backed away but the inside of me didn't want to go. So he leans closer to me and kisses me.
I push Elliot off me.
"Elliot this..This is not right. We can't kiss and hope this situation will be over." I say, almost about to cry.
"Wendy, I'm...I'm sorry. You are the only girl that accepts me for me, I shouldn't have took advantage of you, and I'm sorry." Elliot says.
At that moment I felt butterflies in my stomach. Elliot made me feel contented and I didn't want to let that feeling go.
When he said sorry, I didn't know what to do in that moment. I didn't know whether to kiss him back or run. My heart was beating fast and strong.
At that moment, I decided to run I didn't need that type of stress on me especially since the news I got.
"Elliot, I'm sorry I can't deal with this right now." I sniffle back tears and run away.
"Wendy, wait... I had something to ask you." I hear Elliot say under his breath
When I stop running I see a pond.
Madison texted me.
Madison: What time do you want me to pick you up?
Me: Now.
I was frustrated with myself and Elliot. I kept wanting to change my actions with Elliot.
I was thinking what could I have done to prevent Carrie from getting into this. I was feeling terrible.
While at the pond, I look into the water and see Carrie's reflection. She was behind me.
"WENDY SINGLETON!" Carrie shouts in my ear.
"What do you want Carrie?!" I say standing up quickly.
As soon as I stood up she punched me in the nose. My nose starts bleeding and I fall on the ground hard.
"So you want to ruin my time with Elliot?" Carrie asks me rhetorically.
"Well I'm going to ruin you." Carrie adds infuriatingly.
Soon I feel a force on my back. I felt like I couldn't breath
Everything was dark. It felt like my eyes were closed. But then I noticed I was under water.
Carrie had pushed me into the water.
