"Um...I'm done patching up your wounds." Michelle says in shock of the news.

"Ok thank you." I say looking back in tears.

James steps closer to me and Carrie.

"I'm so sorry for what happened to both of you." James says wrapping one arm around me.

"It's fine." Me and Carrie say.

James opens the door for us and we walk out.

After hearing the shocking news I proceed to all of my classes ready to go home. As soon as the last bell rung I jumped out of my seat and drove home.
--------
I open the front door and my mom is standing in the middle living room. She moves side to side.

"Honey, I have something to tell you." My mom says.

"Ok go ahead." I say in the kindest way possible.

"I assisted you a nurse that will be here with you every day." My mom says locking her hands together.

I look down. My mom could tell I was upset.

"I'm so sorry it's just your cancer is getting worse." My mom says with watering eyes.

"I understand." I say taking off my boots and walking upstairs to my room.

When I entered my room the nurse was awaiting me. She gave me a doctors report of what I could and could not do. I couldn't swim (even though I never swam) drink coffee, go out past a certain time, go to the fair, visit the beach, have pets, or exit out of the country. That was it. My life was officially ruined.

I decided to skip school the next day to focus on myself. I continue reading my book until I get tired. I tap on my bell and call my nurse, Kelly to set me up for bed. She assembles my tubes and I doze off to sleep.
-------------
While twisting and turning in bed I finally open my eyes and look at my phone. I get a notification saying that prom was in 3 weeks. I pulled a png flyer online that states everything about it. I zoom in on the time and it's at 6:30 and of course that's the time which I cannot go past. I silently think to myself.

"Life is hard."
