"Elliot this is so amazing!" I said with excitement.
"Yeah, I was going to bring my dog but he's to rough." Elliot said.
I started laughing so hard. He makes me so happy.
"So have you ever tried a pomegranate before?" Elliot asked me and I shook my head to say no.
"Um, I haven't had a chance to eat one since I've been in the hospital basically all my life." I said nervously.
"Oh, Wendy what was wrong?" Elliot asked me with a concerned look on his face.
"Elliot I've been keeping a secret from you since we've been dating." I answered.
"Oh, what is it?" Elliot asked.
"Elliot, I have cancer and I have one year and 4 months to live." I said and tears filled my eyes.
"Wendy look me in the eyes." Elliot said, cupping my chin in his hands.
I turned to face him and we kissed. It was so perfect. I felt the love between us. It was magical.
After that we had the best time ever. Laughing, being goofy, and just being us and that's why I love Elliot.
He accepts my goofy personality and me.
"Hey thanks for the date." I said as we were walking up to my front door.
"No problem." Elliot smiled and then we kissed again. It was magical, just like the first one.
My mom and dad met Elliot and thought he was sweet. And he actually meant it when he said I love you to me. My heart fluttered at his declaration.
After Elliot's talk with my parents we stepped outside and I asked him the risky question.
"Elliot would you come to my Chemotherapy session tomorrow?" I asked him and he took my hand.
"I'd do anything for you, Wendy." Elliot said and I smiled.
The next day, Elliot drove me to my chemo treatment. He gave me a hug before I went in.
It was warm and cozy in the doctors office. After my chemo was done, I stepped outside the doctor's office and walked with Elliot towards the door.
"WAIT STOP!" A man called out to us and we both turned around.
"The doctor needs you." The man pointed at me, panting.
Elliot grabbed my hand and we walked towards the doctor's private office.
We sat down on the cozy chairs in front of his desk and the doctor took a deep breath.
"Wendy I have some terrible news for you." He said and Elliot squeezed my ham harder.
"Your living time has decreased. You only have 5 months to live." The doctor said and I stood up abruptly, only to come crashing back down into Elliot's arms.
And then everything went dark.
