"Hey Wendy." My mom says entering my room with a cup of tea.

"Hey mom." I say back grabbing my chamomile tea.

"So I have some hopefully exciting news." My mom says pulling on her cardigan.

"What's that mom." I say cracking a smile.

"We are moving." She says in an exciting tone.

The only thought that raced my mind was..
"Wait, will I still be going to the same school?"

"Yes, the house is a little farther from school but it's functional and better for us." My mom says smiling.

I sit up and hug my mom. She tells me to go ahead and pack my things in the moving boxes since the retailers were coming earlier that day.

As I pack my things I find a scrapbook that me and Madison made when we were 4. As I flipped pages I cried. I wasn't going to be able to see my best friend grow to be a mature smart young lady. I was going to miss Madison.

I pack my 7 boxes of items and I pack it in my dads truck. My mom does the same as well. As I take my steps out of the house I look around. We made so many memories in this house but I wanted to make even more in my new one.
------
Once we finally make it to the house the appeal of its outside is astonishing. Everything looked perfect. Open glass windows and a patio a house I've always dreamed to have. I wanted to find new neighbors to communicate with. I look to my right and I see a boy. He was cute but after Elliot I don't want to make the same mistake. Once my parents enter the pre furnished house I walk over to him.

"Hey I'm the new neighbor." I say putting my hands in my pocket.

"Hey your name is Wendy right?" He says while looking at my shirt that prints my name.

"Yup and I'm assuming your name is Jordan guessing by your cap." I decided to make the first move by taking off his cap and putting it on my head.

"Ahh first impression." Jordan says chuckling.

"Well you seem smart make a data chart or something and figure it out." I say laughing.

"Bye." We both say while walking off.

As I open the door the first thing I do is walk to my room. I start decorating, making my bed, setting up my desk, and unboxing all my candles. After a couple hours I unboxed everything and set up my room. I hear a knock on my door and my nurse was coming to prepare for me. I quickly run upstairs again and look out my window. I see Jordan reading "The Crossover." I knock trying to get his attention. He jolts his head up looks over to me and smiles. He shows me the book title while I show him mine. He grabs a piece of paper on it saying 'Text Me.' As I give him my number we begin chatting up a storm. We had lots in common if was fun talking to Jordan.

Maybe we might have a chance.
