Imagine #4 David

Also, this is just based on what we know from episode 2 of season 3, this may not be correct in the future

(Spoilers ahead.....duh)

I found them.

I don't know how I did but I found the New Frontier. They are the only people that I know of that can possibly keep me safe.

"Hey!" I call while looking around. I don't want any walkers coming around and eating my face.

Nobody replies to my distress call.

I hear a growl and look behind me. A walker with rotting flesh dripping from its face starts to stumble my way.

"Help me please!" I yell out, desperate for help.

I pull out my knife when three others walk out from broken buildings.

Looks like I might not have the chance to become safe again.

When a walker comes closer to me I kick its legs out from underneath it and then stab it in the head.

Its growling stops immediately and I back up. The other three are in a group and I can't take them on by myself.

I back up until I hit the metal door. I hold my knife close to me and prepare to fight and maybe my doom.

Then I hear metal creaking and he doors behind me open. I turn around and see many people and a few have guns.

They quickly take out the walkers behind me and I run inside. They close the door behind me and take a deep breath.

"Thank you so much, I have nowhere else to go, all I want is to feel safe again." I say to them.

"Take your shit up with David." One of the men say. He grabs my arm and that's when I notice the strange mark branded on his neck.

He takes me to a house where I see a figure in the window.

"Let go of my arm!" I yelp as he squeezes tighter.

He glares at me and I shiver. His glare seems like it is pure evil.

"Let her go." I hear a mans voice say.

I am released and I stumble a little bit. I look up and see a very tall man.

"I'm sorry for intruding, but this is the only place that I've heard about being safe, I have nowhere else to go." I explain to the man I think is David.

"It's fine, you are safe now, come inside, you must be hungry." He motions for me to come in.

Time skip

David and I became fast friends. I usually walk the perimeter with him when it comes time, and I guard the walls sometimes too.

"If you don't mind me asking, what happened to your family?" I ask him.

He told me that he had a family, but he never really told me the specifics.

"They are gone, my wife, son, daughter, and brother." He explains to me and shakes the wall a little bit.

The wall doesn't move so that means it solid.

"What about yours?" His voice cracks a little bit and I feel guilty.

"Gone, dead, passed, whatever you want to call it." I tell him.

He wraps his arm around me and I smile. Then he kisses my forehead and we keep walking.

Time skip

I wake up in Davids bed and he's gone. Guess he had something to do, well he does need to keep building a safe society.

I stand up and get dressed. I grab my AK-47 and sling it onto my back.

I walk outside and see people at work. I walk until I reach the ladder and watch outside the walls.

The wood creaks beneath my feet as I walk around. I grab my gun when I hear footsteps. I bring up my gun and look around. A group of people turn the corner, and they help two women out of a car. They don't look like anyone that is from here.

I kneel down before they can see me.

"Please we need help!" One of the men call.

There was a large muscular man, a young girl and boy, a woman, and a man carrying another woman. I stand up and poise my gun at them, I have to follow standard procedure.

"What do you want?" I ask them while aiming my gun.

"We need help, she was shot and we don't have any medical supplies." The man carrying the woman tells me.

"Put down your guns." I command.

"We can't do that, your men are the one who shot her." The muscular man tells me.

The men shot her? These people may not be trustworthy.

"Put down the goddamn guns." I command.

They shake their heads and I stop aiming my gun when I hear they gates begin to open.

"What the hell is going on?" David asks down below me.

I hear them stop in their tracks, I can hear voices but I can't really make out what they are saying.

I climb down the ladder and look over at David.

"I thought your family was dead." I say to David when he walks inside the house.

"So did I." He tells me.

I turn around to look at him and he has dry tears on his cheeks. I walk closer to him and hug him.

"I guess you don't need me anymore, you have your family." I smile and begin to walk away. He grabs my arm and I look at him.

"You are a part of my family." He pulls me close to him and hugs me.

"Thank you." I reply.
