Shiro had woken up and was on his knees listening to Sendak yell at Haxus just like I was. We were both handcuffed and weak from our fights. I can't believe this. He's such a bloody traitor to do this to me. "Haxus! I want whoever's in this ship found and terminated."

Haxus replied back evenly, "Commander Sendak, I've received a transmission generating from somewhere inside."

Allura's voice sounded through the speakers and my head popped up and my eyes had grown wide. "There's not much time before they get the ship running again. You must shut off the particle barrier so we can get in." She was talking to Pidge, the only paladin inside that hasn't been captured yet.

Pidge's voice responded quickly, "You got it. Tell me what to do." Please be careful Pidge. They're coming for you. I know they're my mission but... I've been getting off track and... dammit. I need to focus, no emotional ties to anyone or anything. This is like every other mission, now get it done. But it wasn't time yet, so I sat there and prayed that we could get through this.

Allura begun to give Pidge directions leading Sendak right to her, "The particle barrier generator is beneath the main hull. ---"

Haxus had begun to talk over Allura so I couldn't make out the rest of what she said. I knew exactly where that was though and I was hoping Pidge could make it there before the robots do. "She's telling the intruder how to take down our defenses."

Sendak had a nasty grin appear on his as he listened to Allura speak. I didn't like the look at all and he spoke the words that I knew would come out, "Yes, but she's also giving away his location. Find that room, kill the paladin." The Galra soldiers behind began walking away and started to panic to inside. The gut wrenching feeling was back as I hung my head. This was all my fault, I should have taken out the competition when I crash landed here in the first place. I should have taken out Zargon when the chance so many times before. I should have taken out Haggar, but I didn't and I don't know why. Maybe because I have a job to do. And I'll get punished if I don't complete it. "Prepare the engine. Emperor Zargon has commanded us to bring him Voltron. This ship will rise before day's end."

Haxus had gone to restart the engines so Shiro, Lance and I were alone with Sendak as he probably planned his victory speech. The gut wrenching feeling grew once again and I knew that it meant Pidge was in danger. I kind of like the pink, but I like the blue better. I always wondered why my hair was an extremely light blonde and on either side faded to blue and pink. I was born this way and in every family photo we ever took, I always stuck out. Everyone always liked it but I just felt as though I was the odd one out.

Haxus's voice through the speakers interrupted my thoughts, "Initializing main cluster reboot." I was really hoping Pidge would do something fast before they start up the system again. Sendak had a greedy and malicious smile plastered on his face. I knew that look and that was the look of triumph. "Initializing complete. I'm set for main power up." Oh no, come on Pidge. Hurry.

Sendak spoke into the mic and told Haxus, "The bridge is a go."

Haxus gave a firm reply, "Powering up." Shit! His voice came through once more and I knew that something was wrong. Hope had ran through me that we might just be able to defeat Sendak. "Sir, something is wrong." There was silence on the other end.

Sendak waited for a while for an answer before speaking again, "Haxus, report in."

The voice I was hoping for came through from the other end, "Haxus is gone and you're next." Pidge was okay and I was grateful. That also meant that Haxus was indeed dead because it was either triumph or death.
