"Found anyone?" I asked barging into Tyrell's room. "Yup. My friend Jason went to Winston and when he saw Karen he said he would go." A weight felt like it had been lifted from my shoulders. "He's a freshman like you right?" I asked. "Yup. He's nineteen."

"Give me a picture of him so I can show Karen."

"Omg! He's hot! And he's in college! And he's my date to the dance!!!! Tyler will be-" I cut here off. "No this is not about Tyler. Its about you moving on and finding new people," I said. Jessica bursted through the doors of buzzed, which was our coffee hangout spot. "Show me him!" She yelped causing a few people to stare at us. I pulled her into the seat next to me and showed her. "Oh my f**king god! He's drop dead gorgeous," she exclaimed. I rolled my eyes. "Guys. He isn't that good looking," I said. "Are you insane or blind?! Or both?!" Karen said. "Her mind's clouded with Joseph," Jessica said and a smile played at the corner of my lips. "See!" Jessica exclaimed. "Shush!" I said and sipped my coffee. "What's going on between you two?" They asked intrigued by my facial expression. "Nothing," I mumbled and continued drinking. "Lies," Karen said leaning back in her chair. "Agreed," Jessica said. I shrugged and looked out the window.

"What do you think of this?" I asked holding up an elegant ankle length sea blue dress. It's sleeveless and the right side is off the shoulder. The top half is body hugging while the bottom is more flowing and creates a graceful look. "Ooh. Try it on!" Jessica said excitedly. I went to the changing room and emerged five minutes later twirling in it. Karen and Jessica clap with excitement. "Now me! now me!" Jessica said after I change. "I could be an ice witch," Jessica said and she returned with three outfits. "Sexy ice witch," she said holding up a short shimmering white dress with lace on the top half and layered net material on the bottom half. "Elegant ice witch," she said holding up a long a silver strapless dress. "Or modern ice witch," she said holding up a baby blue mini dress with a pair of white netted stockings. "Sexy ice queen!" Karen exclaims and I nod in agreement. Jessica puts it on and she looks stunning. "Now moi! I'm gonna be a snow queen so .... Ta-dah!" Karen said and held up a knee length white dress with a blue watercolor effect around the hem and a blue band around the waist. "That's beautiful!" I exclaimed jumping up and down.
"I take it you young ladies have found your items?" The salesclerk said smiling at us. We nodded and purchased our clothes. "Shoes!" Jessica said and pulled me and Karen through the mall to a shoe store.

My phone buzzed as I tried on a pair of silver heels.

Nice shoes.

I looked out the store window and saw Joseph, Tyler and a girl I assumed was Ari. He smiled, his hand in his pocket. His hair needed a cut but he still looked amazing. I looked around for Jessica and Karen who were in deep conversation about something so I took off the shoes and snuck out the store. "Hey," I said hugging him. "Hey. I'm here getting an outfit for myself and since I saw you being dragged here I thought I'd pay a visit." Tyler and the girl were flirting with each other and smiling. "That's Ari?" I asked. The girl had Carmel colored skin, curly brown waist length hair with blonde highlights, sweet hazel eyes and plump rosy lips. "Yeah," Joseph said. "You guys should get her out of here before the predator meets it's prey," I said. Joseph laughed and kissed my cheek. "What was that for?" I asked. "For being my girlfriend," he said. He then walked into the shoe store.

Bad idea.

"Hey Ty. Care to introduce me?" I said. "Oh hey Mi. Meet my friend, Ariana. Ariana meet my friend Mia," Tyler said. "Of course. Me and Tyler's friendship isn't the same as your's and his 'friendship'," I said and Ariana laughed. "Mia!" Tyler hissed and I smiled sweetly.
Karen barrels out the store and her's and Tyler's eyes lock. "Oh shit," I curse and grab Ari's arm and pulls her back. Tyler's eyes were cool as he calmly looked at Karen while Karen's eyes were like fire.
"What's going on?" Ariana asked quietly. "Meet Karen. Tyler's ex-girlfriend."
Karen turns on her heels and sashays inside the store with her nose in the air. I went after her and she was trying shoes with Jessica. I looked out the window and Tyler and Ariana were sitting on a bench talking. Joseph had a plastic bag with a shoebox in it and he casually sat scrolling through his phone. "Heyo," I said slumping down next to him. "Hey cutie. Karen punched her?" He asked. "No. Not yet. You just had to come in here," I said. "I needed shoes," he said holding up his bag. I sighed and rested my head on his shoulder. "You think Karen's hurt that bad?" He asked. "Duh! Her ex broke up with her and now he's out there with another girl," I said playing with his fingers. Joseph paused then said, "so if I dumped you and was flirting with another girl a month or so after you'd have a problem?"
