April Fool's Day is tomorrow, and the Prank King and his newly recruited Cupcake are planning to go all out. Halloween was a blast, and way more fun to pull off with a cute little blonde, and no he isn't talking about himself-well not this time. No, this year, it is him and his Cupcake against the world, or at least their family. Each year he gets two free prank days. They don't cost him hours, or get him in trouble because they are days MADE for pranks. They are his days, and his family knows this, but he also knows that April Fool's Day isn't just celebrated by him. It's a family tradition to try and take the crown away from the King. Outsmart the King and you're free from pranks for a whole month and a half. Six weeks of Luke-free bliss. Each year they try, and so far, no one has accomplished it. Kota ends up overthinking it, and Gabe is horrible at keeping things a surprise. North isn't prankster material, and Silas is right up there with him. Doc cannot find time to plan a prank that ACTUALLY works. Mr. B, pranking? It would be a cold day in hell. Nathan has gotten close, and probably the only one of his brothers that understands the art. Victor is too nice, and his all kind of flop. So see, it's only natural that Luke be at the top. Sang right by his side as his Queen. His sweet Queen that doubts every plan and worries about the outcome and apologizes to his brothers for every single prank. Also, his go to shield that works EVERY TIME. I mean, who can resist a sweet little Sang being thrown at them with her cute little pout and heart-warming hugs? No one. And that is why Luke is super happy to have her on his side this year. Well, will be. He obviously has to prank her first to get the ball rolling. It worked great on Halloween, and April Fool's will be no different. The tradition started the year pranks started truly taking off for him, 12 was a good age for him, and when March 31st rolled around his brothers came to him with a proposition. "Luke, if one of us takes your crown from you tomorrow, then we go without your pranks for six weeks."
"All of you?"
"No, just the King."
"And how are we going to keep track?"
"Tally board."
"A tally board?"
"You get a tally mark beside your name for every successful prank in your color. If we prank you and you don't get your revenge prank to take down the tally mark before midnight then you lose."
"Revenge prank?"
"Yup, we aren't limiting you this time." How could he turn it down? As many pranks as he wants! So of course, he accepted. Nathan made it to eleven with his red mark under Luke's name two years ago. No one else has even made it that close. What happens if Luke wins? He gets a congratulations cake that North makes and it has the most sugar and yumminess anyone could stomach, and his brother hates. What more could he have asked for? Nothing. That is why this was his favorite holiday.
The day started out like any April Fool's Day properly should, with yelling. "LUCIAN TAYLOR!" Was heard quite loudly from a bellowing brother as he opens the eldest brother's door.
"April Fool's North!"
"YOU FROZE MY KEYS!" He continues as he throws the frozen bowl of keys onto Luke's bed. Luke just grins in response.
"I would put that somewhere to thaw, or maybe find the hair dryer Gabe left laying around somewhere." North groans and punches his brother in the shoulder.
"Revenge prank Luke. Revenge prank." He mutters as he walks out of the room, frozen bowl in hand.
"PUT A TALLY MARK NEXT TO MY NAME BRO!"
"DO IT YOURSELF ASSHOLE!" Luke snickers before jumping out of bed. His phone goes off with a ding, alerting him of a text message.
Nathan: Okay, which one of you assholes did it? 😡
Kota: Did what?
Sang: Are you okay Honey?
Silas: What happened?
Sean: No harm right?
Nathan: Someone stitched my clothes!😤
Sang: I'm sorry Honey
Luke: AWESOME🤣😂
North: Please tell me they still fit.
Nathan: All of my pants legs have one higher than the other. And I don't mean just a little bit higher.
Luke: SOOOOO MUCH BETTER THAN MY BUTT FLAPS LAST YEAR!🤣🤣
Silas: Picture?
Nathan: No
Kota: Head over to my house for extras
Sean: So which one of you did it?
Nathan: Revenge will be sweet!
Owen: Think logically for once, and I'm sure you will figure it out gentlemen.
Gabe: Orange tally-mark! Shopping is in order Nate. I did you a god damned favor.
Nathan: Gabriel Coleman, you are going down!😠
Gabe: Bring it😏

AN: So this will be posted tomorrow. I know I promised today (thus the teaser) but in order for me to really love it and post something I am proud of (that will surely be long) I am pushing it back a day.
