Chapter 37: 7 years later

[Berry's POV]

I was so tired and I was still sleeping when I heard my phone ring.

Hindi ako nakatulog ng maayos dahil sa schedule ko kahapon.

I officially made this day, my day-off.

Still with closed eyes,I reached for my phone sa side table ko and answered the call.

"Hello?" I said, still half-asleep.

The person on the other side sighed in exasperation.

"Seriously Berry? Seriously? Ikaw nalang hinihintay namin oy! Tapos,malalaman ko Na mukhang kakagising mo pa lang?" Sabi niya.

Ugh!!

"Relle! I slept late last night! Alam mo yun! Ang tagal kaya natapos ng book signing ko." I said,defensively.

She sighed again.

I can already picture her rolling her eyes now.

" Berry? Magready ka Na diyan! Sabay tayong pupunta sa Cemetery right? After all,its her death anniversary. " she said.

I just rolled out of bed and started my rituals.

"Yeah-yeah... Tell Ronnie to pick me up! " I said and ended the call.

It's been seven years! Yep! Seven!

As you can see...

Things have changed.

I am currently a very well known author.

I started getting popular when I was a second year college student and eventually became a book selling author.

Some of my books are already turned to movies.

I take being a director for one of them.

Then we have Relle.

She is now an architect. A well known architect. I don't know how she did it but she is a really great architect.

While Nette? She is already a Pediatrician.

That girl love to take care of kids.
Her reason why she wanted to be a Pediatrician?

She loves kids but she doesn't want to be a teacher. That, and she thinks teaching is not her style.

Ronnie?

He's great.He's probably one of the most popular computer engineers of our country.

And of course, we are together now.He is my fiance now.

Actually, we never really did that well in the past years. I mean, we fought when we were in our first year.Heck! I even broke up with him back then.

But he was so determined and that got us together.Now? We are at our 4th year of relationship.

It's not perfect but it's what I want.

Si Alexander naman.

Ayun,naging full time Civil engineer. I can't believe Na tumagal talaga sila ni Relle.Although,yung nanliligaw niya eh umabot pa ng years.Sabi nga ni Relle, baka makahanap pa siya ng iba.Meaning, okay lang Na nanliligaw pa rin si Alex,Kahit pa itigil niya ang panliligaw niya dahil may nagustuhan siya eh okay lang Kay Relle.Atleast,hindi nagcheat sa kanya si Alex dahil technically, they are not together. Pero just last year,naging sila.Oh diba?

Now, Stanley? He's probably enjoying his life being a landscape architect and all. He is great at his chosen career.
