"Hinata, wake up, we gotta get ready for school!" Sakura exclaims as she tries to wake up Hinata.
A week has passed since Sakura has got to Konoha University, and today is the day she attends her first day of class. She was more than excited.
"I'm up! Stop shaking me, it'll make me puke." Hinata reluctantly gets out of bed, rubbing her eyes. A sigh escapes her lips as she walks over to her closet.
"I'm gonna head to the showers, are you gonna shower?" Sakura asks, grabbing her toiletries and clothes. Hinata nods.
An hour passes and the girls are ready, grabbing their essentials for the day and they're out the door.
"I have Advanced Calculus with Mr. Timmermans in the building across from yours, I'll meet up with you later." Hinata says, smiling and waving as she walks in the direction of the building.
Sakura gives a soft chuckle, waving slightly. She then walks to the building she's supposed to be in, nerve building up in her stomach. Sakura had physiology first thing and she happen to know Rin was in the same class, so she was glad she wouldn't be totally alone.
"Sakura!" She turns to whoever was calling her name and sees a smiling Rin and a boy with black hair walking towards her.
"Hey, Rin." Sakura greets and glances at the guy beside her.
"Oh! This is Obito Uchiha, hes friends with Kakashi, and he's also in our class." Rin smiles. Sakura and Obito exchange greetings, even if his was a bit loud, she liked his upbeat persona. She giggles and they all head towards the building.
"I think this is the class." Rin looked above the door to see 'Ms. Tsunade.' printed on a metal plate.
Rin and Obito waste no time and walk in, but Sakura was nervous. She fidgeted and felt her nerve rise up to her throat.
"Here goes nothing."
Sakura walks in, clutching her binder to her chest. She looks around the class, observing its details. Until she makes eye contact with the guy sitting in the front of the class.
And she is mesmerized.
He holds eye contact with her, not breaking it. Not that she wanted to look away.
"Sakura? Are you alright? Come sit with me!" Rin calls, pointing to a see next to her. "Plus, I would like you to meet someone."
Sakura snaps out of her daze and she blushes, walking over to the seat Rin was pointing at. He hasn't stopped looking at her, he was intrigued.
"Sakura, this is my boyfriend, Kakashi Hatake."
Sakura looks at who Rin was pointing at and it was none other than the guy she made eye contact with when she walked in, who by-the-way, was sitting only two seats to the right from where Sakura was sitting.
She bit her lip.
"Nice to meet you.. Kakashi." Sakura shyly gives a hand for Kakashi to take, avoiding eye contact. He shakes her hand, and he notices how soft and delicate her hands were.
He didn't want to let go.
Surprised by his thoughts, he abruptly pulls his hand back and turns his attention to the front. He feels Rin grab his hand.
Sakura feels her cheeks redden and she looks down at her binder. Fortunately, the professor walks in.
"Good morning class, I hope you all slept well. I am Professor Tsunade, I will be teaching you physiology for this semester. Please stand when I call your name, and let's go back to middle school, I would like you to also say something you like." Tsunade smirks, folding her arms over her chest.
She calls quite a few names till:
"Haruno, Sakura." The professor calls. Tsunade looks at to see a girl with bright pink hair standing.
"I'm Sakura, and I like, um, my friends." She muttered the first thing that came to mind, mentally scolding herself for the embarrassment she caused.
Tsunade nods, before calling out the next name on the list.
"Hatake, Kakashi." Everyone in the class looks around and their eyes settle on the 6 ft silver haired guy with a mask covering half his face.
"I am Kakashi, and I like.." He looks around, thinking of something to say. He sneaks a glance at Rin, he could say her, but he also sneaks a glance at Sakura, who was watching him intently. He quickly looked away.
"Bubblegum!" He blurts. He quickly sits back down, sighing. What has gotten into him?
Rin furrows her eyebrows, confused. Bubblegum?
Sakura was just as confused, not expecting that answer from a guy who looked collected and reserved.
Tsunade continues to call on names, but Sakura zoned out and stopped paying attention.
"Hey, Sakura?" Rin whispers, leaning over to her.
"Hm?"
"Stay awake from Kakashi."

I don't know what this is, I didn't expect to update today lol
ALSO, pls note that this is a Kakasaku fanfic, if anyone was confused. Of course, there will be changes to make the plot work and some ships might be added.
And pls don't hesitate to give some constructive criticism, I rlly need it. I feel like I'm rushing things and making Sakura too upbeat, or making Kakashi seem like a lil schoolboy, but that's NOT what I intended to do lol help
