Three Days until the Talent Show

Namjoon's Perspective

"Come onnnnnn!" Jungkook whined. "Just muster up the courage and ask her out already"

Taehyung had been all over a girl right now. I, honestly never heard of this girl. But the way he described her, she might actually be a he.

"She has short brown hair and she had thick thighs and she was short, but not too short."

Those were his exact words. He's never seen her face, which is a bad thing, and he said the same thing about Jimin when he say him for the first time. It's probably Jimin again, Taehyung's mistaken Jimin for a girl multiple times. The fact that Jungkook tells him to ask her out each time is quite surprising.

"I'm way too shy to ask her out." Taehyung said. "And what if it's just Jimin again?" He asked.

"Well then we'll just have to deal with the fact that you're turning gay for Jimin" Jungkook said with a smirk.

"I agree, Jimin is pretty feminine, if he wasn't a boy, I'd actually go out with him." Spoke up Yoongi.

"That's gross" I said with a disgusted face on.

It truly was gross, why can't I be friends with normal people?

"Hey, Namjoon" spoke up Jin. "When are you going to ask out Jenny?"

"I asked her to the talent show"

"That doesn't count, Namjoon."

"But why not? I asked her out" I reasoned.

"You asked her out to the talent show, but you don't even have any plans. Honestly you're just going to sit there and watch an hour long show." Jungkook spoke up with his arms crossed.

"We'll just see where the night takes us" I said with a shrug.

"Namjoon, no" Yoongi disagreed.

"Namjoon, yes." Taehyung agreed. "That's a great plan, that way, you'll both get surprised by how the night ends. Also don't get any expectations, that way you won't get disappointed by anything."

That'd be great advice if I wasn't awkward as hell. I can't just not have expectations. Who can just not expect anything?

"Jenny probably sees it as a reg-"
"I see what?"

I was cut of by no other then Jenny herself. I had nothing but a surprised look on my face.

"Are you excited to go to the talent show with Namjoon?" Jungkook suddenly asked.

Jenny's Perspective

"Are you excited to go to the talent show with Namjoon?" Jungkook asked as Hoseok looked at me as if he was anticipating my answer.

Hello yeah I was excited. But I can't say that out loud, it's embarrassing.

"I'm looking forward to it." Was all I said.

"Do you see it as a date?" Hoseok asked.

"Ummm..."

RINNNG!!

Thank God I was saved by the bell. Do I really see it as a date?

"Students, take out your notebooks and get ready to take notes." I heard the teacher say as I walked to my desk.

I did as I was told and completely zoned out the rest of class. I actually fell asleep.

"Jenny, can you answer number 18 for the class please?" I heard the teacher ask me as she woke me up from my slumber.

Number 18? Number 18?!?!! I don't even know what class this was!

"Number 18?" I asked with a shaky voice.

The teacher gave me a stern look and answered with a simple nod.

I took a look at the paper. If x=3/4 •9 and the diagonal of a rhombus is x-2, than what is the area of the rhombus? What???? I'm supposed to be smart and I don't even know this.

Namjoon must have seen the confusion in my face because he answered for me.

"25 squared units" He said. (I have no idea if that's right or not, please don't try that problem.)

"Thank you, Namjoon. That is correct, but I asked Jenny." Replied the teacher.

Since when am I in math class? Did I zone out that much??

-Time skip-

"Jenny, can I walk you home?" My stalker instincts kicked in and I knew exactly who that was. The one and only Namjoon.

"Ummmm, sure. Why not?" I replied.

"Ok, but fist want to go to a cafe nearby? I heard it's really good"

"Sure" I replied with a smile.
