Namjoon's Perspective

After dropping Jenny off at her house I walked towards my house. In just a few more hours I will get to see her again, at the Talent Show.

How time flies. It feels like just yesterday I asked her to the Talent Show. Now I'm actually going to take her to it.

On my way to my house I thought about what I was going to wear. I had the outfit planned out, with help from Jimin, but the more I think of it the more I dislike it. I don't know, it just seems as if it's underdressed. As if I could do better. As if I had to do better. I'll just have to trust with what Jimin says.

I entered my apartment and walked towards my room. It was currently 4:35 pm. The Talent Show starts at 6:30 pm. I have an hour and 55 minutes to get ready and pick up Jenny.

I stood in front of my mirror, staring at my reflection. Now that I think of it, I don't even remember buying the clothes I was wearing. I wonder where it came from.

I started to run my fingers through my hair and thought about ways to style it. Maybe I should just keep it down. Or maybe I should part it. Or maybe just put it off to one side. What if I dyed it again? Jimin currently had bright orange hair and Yoongi had a dull gray. What if I dyed mine purple? Or maybe blonde? Or maybe just a bold white?

I checked the time. 5:15 pm, it read. I had an hour and 15 minutes before the show started. I did have enough time to dye my hair. Should I? Should I really? Nah. Maybe some other time.

I still had to do my hair though, and I have no idea how. I decided to just call Jimin. He's great with hair, and he lives here.

"Jimin!" I called out to him.

"What's up?" He asked from the hallway as I heard his footsteps move towards my room.

"I need help with my hair." I bluntly stated.

He sighed loudly as he walked towards me. He grabbed a comb and flipped it around in his hands. "How do you want it?" He asked.

"Well if I knew, I would've done it myself. Don't you think?" I said in a duh tone.

He sighed again as he reached up and ran the comb through my hair. He combed all my hair to the back. Then he combed the sides inwards so all my hair was on top. It was simple yet looked nice with the all black clothes I had on.

"There." He said as he put down the comb.

I stared at myself. Admiring his light work on my hair. "Thank you very much."

"So..." he began. "Are you gonna ask her out today?"

"Planning on it."

"Great. Great. Also if you don't mind, me and Yoongi bought tickets too. We'll be watching you."

"That's nice, then you can help me if I get too awkward." I said while thinking of the pros of the situation.

"Yup you have a full hour left. What are going to do in the mean time?"

Hmmmm. I hummed in thought. "I honestly don't know. Any ideas?" I asked him.

"Why don't you pick up Jenny and do something fun before the show?" He proposed.

"Sounds like a great idea. Let me tell her first so she's ready." I reached for my phone.

Jenny's Perspective

I was almost done. Just had to do my hair and makeup. Haru was here and doing my hair while I quickly applied my makeup.

Suddenly my phone made a ding! sound and the screen lit up.

Namjoon💕
Are you almost ready? I'd like to pick you up now so we can do something fun before the show.

I had a mini panic attack once I read the message.

"Haru! Haru! Haru! We have to hurry he's coming early!!!" I yelled at my older friend.

Her face went from calm to panicked and scared in half a second. "What? Why would he come early?? He should know girls take longer to get ready!" She spoke fast.

"I don't know!" I said in a wining voice. "But I only need to do my mascara and put on my shoes. Are you almost done with my hair?"

"I'm almost done. Just tell him you need like ten more minutes." She said as she continued doing my hair.

"Ok. Ok."

I need like ten more minutes but I should be done before then.

I send the message. I finished my makeup and stood still so Haru could finish my hair.

While she was putting the finishing touches on my hair the doorbell rang.

"I thought you told him you needed ten more minutes!" She practically hissed at me.

"Jenny!" My mother called out from down stairs. "Someone's here for you!"

"What if you overdressed for this?" Haru asked while she grabbed my shoes. "I mean it isn't like you're going to perform in the show, you'll just be attending it."

"Don't talk to me about my outfit. You helped me pick it out!"

"Ok ok, but what if he's just dressed casually and you're all up in a dress?" She asked.

"Dresses can be casual too!" I pouted.

"Yeah ok just hurry up and get your shoes on"

I grabbed my shoes from her hands and slipped them on. I quickly stumbled down the stairs and towards the living room where Namjoon was sitting down having a conversation with my mother. He turned to look at me and I swear I saw his mouth drop open but close in a second.

"Are you all ready to go?" My mother asked me as she got up.

"Yes mother." I answered with a smile.

We bid our goodbyes and we walked out to his car.

"Namjoon you better take care of her!" My mom said. Her statement made me blush.

"I want her home by 11 o'clock not a minute late!" Haru yelled at him.

"Don't worry, she'll be safe." Namjoon yelled back.

"Bye mom!" I smiled and waved at her while we got into his car.

"They're nice people." He said as he turned on the engine. He backed out of the drive way and started on the road. I wonder where we're going before and after the show. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.
