Jenny's Perspective

Just one more day until the Talent Show. One more day.

Today was a Friday and the Talent Show is tomorrow, so on a Saturday. I'm both nervous and excited. I can't wait!

I was at lunch but because I usually never eat lunch, I went to the library, like always.

I sat down in my regular seat and began reading a book I had been reading. It was so interesting and adorable yet it kept me at the edge of my seat all the time.

Suddenly, my phone buzzed, cutting through the silence in the room.

I checked it just to see a message from Haru.

Is the Talent Show today or tomorrow, just want to make sure I get to send my child off on her first date :)
Sent-11:34am

I don't know why, but my cheeks began to burn up when I read her message. Was it really a date?

I hope it is because if not then I've been over reacting on everything. I answered the message, telling Haru the Talent Show would be tomorrow, not today.

As I was reading and getting engrossed into my book, a hand snatched it away. I jumped at the sudden action.

I looked up to see who was responsible and saw Taehee. She looked absolutely livid. She was glaring at me menacingly and looked as if her eyes could cut me in half.

"Can I have my book back?" I asked calmly, I didn't want any problems. Especially not with her, she's one of the popular students here.

"No. Not until you promise to stay away from Namjoon." She said as she kept her glare, piercing straight through my eyes.

"What's wrong with me talking to Namjoon?" I tried hard to not stutter or let out a shaky voice.

"Namjoon belongs to me, not you. He will never belong to you because he deserves someone better, like me" She smirked at her own words.

All I could do was laugh. She actually thought a human being belonged to her. She thought Namjoon belonged to her.

"HAHAHA! Ha! Ha! Ha!" I laughed while letting my laughs get spaced out.

Taehee looked at me as if I was crazy. She then threw my book at me. "I don't see what you're laughing at" she snapped at me.

"I'm laughing because a human being cannot belong to another human being. To belong to each other is something else. But have you ever considered Namjoon's feelings?" I looked her straight in the eyes.

She scoffed. "Why wouldn't he love me? Who wouldn't love me? I'm perfect in every way imaginable, he's bound to love me."

Is she crazy? She must be crazy. "You may be perfect on the outside, but in the inside you are the opposite of perfect, you're like a witch."

I can't believe those words came out of my mouth when did I get that confidence?

Taehee scoffed and pushed me down in my chair and then walked away. "He belongs to and with me, there's nothing to argue here!" She practically yelled at me before she walked out of the library.

So much for peace and quiet.

"Heyyy, Jenny." I heard Namjoon call out to me.

"Oh, hi Namjoon." I smiled at him.

"So, I was wondering if you'd like to go somewhere with me after school today?" He nervously asked.

"Hmmm." I hummed in thought. "Are you gonna send me home hungry again?" I asked.

"I apologize for sending you home hungry, but if it makes you feel better, I was also hungry."

"Ewww, just go out already" some random student spoke out to us.

"Yeah! And get a room. Your love is so sweet it's giving me diabetes." Another student said.

Namjoon and I simply chuckled at their comments. If only we could just go out. That'd be great and a dream come true. Can't it happens faster?

"So?" Namjoon asked while he looked me straight in the eyes.

"Sure, I don't see why not." I replied to him.

"Great. That's great, I hope you don't mind, but my friends want to come along too."

"Oh, umm", I really didn't know what to say to this. So I just nodded and said it was ok. I wonder where we're going this time.

-time skip-

Namjoon's Perspective

"Where are you taking her this time?"
"We are allowed to come, right?"
"Are you guys going out, yet?"
"Do you have any plans for tomorrow?"

As soon as I got to my locker, I was pestered with questions and I really didn't want to answer.

I let out a slight sigh before answering, "Yes, you are allowed to go. I already told her you guys were coming and no. We're not going out yet."

"You guys still aren't going out?" Asked Jungkook, frustrated.

"Don't worry too much. Notice how he said 'yet', he obviously has something planned." Assured Taehyung.

I hope I have something planned.
