-After School-

Namjoon's Perspective

I walked towards Jenny's locker where she was getting her things ready to go home.

I hope she's not a boring person, cause I'm going to do what she wants. If it's boring, I'll just ditch her.

"Hey Jenny." I called out to her.

She looked up with a smile. "Hey Namjoon".

"You ready?"

She zipped up her backpack and closed her locker. "Yup" she said as she put on her back pack.

"Ok" I said as I offered my hand for her to hold. And she held it in her small hands. "Where do you wanna go?"

"Hmm", she hummed in thought. "Lets go to the movie theatre!" She said excitedly.

"Ok" I said with a smile.

As we arrived at the movies, we got in line to pay for our tickets.

"Which movie do you wanna see?" I asked her. Our hands were still held together.

"Hmmm" she hummed in thought again. "Lets watch Beauty and the Beast"

"That's fine by me", I said as I slowly swung our hands.

Once our tickets were paid, we went to buy popcorn and drinks. Afterwards we went to the theatre room.

"Choose a seat", I said as I slightly motioned for her to keep walking in.

She walked in and went to the middle of the back row.

Jenny's Perspective

Where's the best place to sit in a theatre? The back of course! You can lean your feet up on the chairs in front and you don't have to crane your neck to see the screen.

I led the way to our seats and sat down. As we waited for the movie to start, we ate almost half the popcorn. Why are there always so much ads before movies?

Namjoon's Perspective

Throughout the movie noticed that Jenny kept shifting in her seat. As if to find the perfect position.

In the middle of the movie, however, she wrapped her arms around my right arm and leaned on my side. How adorable. It wasn't exactly comfortable for me, but I'm not about to push her off.

When the movie ended, I expected Jenny to get up, bug she didn't. I turned to look at her and noticed that she was asleep. She looked like an angel while she slept, so precious.

"Hey, Jenny", I quietly called to her. "Jenny wake up", I called again.

Her eyes slowly opened up and she slightly stretched her limbs in her seat.

"How long did you sleep?"

"I think I fell asleep in the middle, but I'm not sure".

"If you were going to fall asleep, then I should've just walked you straight to your house." I said to her as I offered my hand to help her up off the seat.

"My apologies, but I didn't think I would fall asleep during the movie." She said, she sounded slightly offended.

"Relax, I'm only kidding." I told her as we walked out of the theatre, hand in hand.

As we walked home, Jenny kept rambling about things that I tried to understand. Trust me, I truly, truly tried, but it was so boring. One sentence caught my attention, though.

"Sometimes, I wish I had friends like you." She said as she kept looking forward.

"Why though? They are literally the most annoying things you could ever encounter in your life." I explained to her.

"You may say they're annoying, but you like their company." She responded. "I have one friend. And she's always busy with her child. She has no time to hang out with me, and when she does, we always have to do some kid friendly activity, and she has to go home early to get him to bed."

"Her child?" I asked. "Who exactly is your one friend? And am I not your friend or are we just acquaintances?" I added.

"I don't know, would you say we're friends?" She asked as she slightly looked down. "And yeah she got raped in her senior year and she didn't want to have an abortion so she gave birth to her child."

"That's quite sad." I had nothing else to say about that except it disgusted me that people actually take others. It truly is a sad, cruel world. "And of course, we're friends, why wouldn't we be?" Just saying it hurt me. I don't want us to be just friends, I want to be something far better than just friends.

Jenny's Perspective

Can't we be more than friends?

I really wanted to ask, but before I knew it we arrived at my house.

Some part of me was expecting a kiss, but even I wouldn't kiss someone who slept through a movie when they themselves chose it. So I pushed that thought away.

At least, I tried to push it away. Some other part of me wanted to kiss him just cause his lips looked so plump and kissable.

Before I walked in, before I even opened the door, I leaned up and pecked his lips with mine.

"Night, Jenny", he quickly said.

"Night, Namjoon"
