Jenny's Perspective
I NEED YOU GIRL WAE-
Ughhhhhhh. It's morning again.
I turned off my alarm as I stretched and yawned and slowly get out of bed.
Today was the Talent Show, and I'm not sure that I'm exactly ready for it.I still have school though, and I can't let one hour of sitting around in the dark district me from anything else.
-
As I walked into the school, I saw people buzzing around, as usual. The hallways were crowded and conversations were filling the air. These conversations were all on the same topic, the Talent Show. It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who can't stop thinking about it.
I pray to all gods in existence that Taehee won't come and ruin my day today.
But of course, she had to do it. I was at my locker grabbing my things for my first class when she came up to me.
"I hope you're not thinking about the Talent Show because it'd be a waste of time. Namjoon's just going to show you up, no one wants to go with you." She said with such a sassy tone.
"Wow, rude" I said quietly under my breath. Before I could say anything else someone said something before me.
"I must be no one then since I want to go to the Talent Show with her." The deep voice was heard from behind me. From Taehee's expression and my stalker instincts, i knew exactly who it was. And thank god he showed up because I did not feel like dealing with her today.
"N-Namjoon..." her voice trailed off. I don't want to be rude, but it was nice to see her nervous for once.
"Have a nice day, Taehee." Namjoon said quietly as he put his arm around my shoulders and led me away to our class. The simple action made red creep onto my cheeks.

RIIIIIING!!
The bell had rung for lunch and I was about to head to the library, but Namjoon called my name.
"Jenny", he said as his friends walked towards the cafeteria. "Do you want to go to lunch with us?"
How sweet. "Actually, I was going to read in the library. I prefer quiet places rather than louder ones. Thank you, though, for the offer." I need time to mentally prepare myself for tonight.
"That's fine. Have fun in the library, then." He said to me before he walked away.
-
As lunch ended, I was gathering my things to leave the library. A hand suddenly grabbed onto my wrist. Not her, again. Taehee held my wrist tightly and turned me to look at her.
"Who do you think you are?" She asked as she looked in my eyes with pure hatred. "Just stop talking to him, I've told you already he belongs to me." Not this again.
"I know that I'm Jenny. And, again, have you ever considered his feelings? Do you even know who he likes? Do you even know if he's ok with you telling people that you guys belong with each other?"
"Well he obviously wouldn't have feelings for you, no one would have feelings for you. You're not good enough." She said with a wicked smirk.
I am honestly done with all of her nonsense. Even if he didn't have feelings for me, I'm sure he wouldn't have feelings for a witch. "Do you know how you sound? You sound like an obsessed child. Like a two year old. Just grow up already." With that I pried my wrist from her hand and walked away.
Unbelievable. Now I can't even go to lunch peacefully. Isn't the library supposed to be quiet and calming?
I made my way to class and sat down in my chair. Class resumed as usual. And so did the rest of the day.
At the end of the day, Namjoon walked up to me and asked if he could walk me home. How nice. I took up on his offer and allowed him to walk me home.
It was a nice walk with comfortable silence but with slight conversation. When we got to my house he quickly put a quick peck on my lips and whispered "I'll see you tonight."
I couldn't have left fast enough. The red was already making it's way onto my cheeks and I couldn't stop it.
I closed the door and walked inside my humble home. "Mom, I'm home." I yelled out so she could acknowledge my presence.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah. I know, you don't have to be so loud." She said as she walked out of the kitchen. "You should start getting ready now. You take forever to take a shower and I'm pretty sure Namjoon wouldn't want to wait for you too long." She said with a smile.
"Ok mom, I'll be upstairs if you need anything, though."
