Haru's Perspective

Irrelevant news stories continued to show up on the tv. Why was she watching the news at this time?

"May I ask, why you're watching the news?" I asked Jenny's mother.

"I really like the way the news anchor looks. His hair is fashionable." She replied with her eyes glued onto the TV.

We stayed like that for about ten minutes. Nothing important was showed up. Then came in live reports. A car crash seemed to happen.

"An accident involving two cars occurred tonight on xxxxxx road..."

"Isn't that Namjoon's car?" Jenny's mother asked me while looking closely to the screen.

"It can't be. They're smart kids, they wouldn't get into an accident." I answered. Though the more I looked at the screen the more the car resembled Namjoon's. But he wouldn't crash. It's not raining that hard.

She looked at me with a worried look, "Are you sure?" She asked.

I was doubting myself. What if it was Namjoon's car? I couldn't make her worry. "I'm pretty sure." I answered with tone of uncertainty.

"Both vehicles seem to be damaged and the victims appear to be two high school students. One female and one male. More information will be available as we receive it."

At this I practically froze and started panicking. They couldn't have crashed. They're responsible. But then again, accidents do happen.

I looked to my right to see her mother. She had tears running down her cheeks, but she wasn't looking away from the screen. She had no color in her face, but her eyes her a bright red from crying.

"Jenny, you better not have died on me." I muttered under my breath.

Oh my gosh, it's been so long. I almost thought I was dead.
