The young Prince was on the balcony of his room looking out on Egypt's beauty. It's most beautiful when it's sunset he smiled and rested his head on the railing "WHOAA" he quickly turned around and saw a girl around his age with (h/l) (h/c) in a ragged dress hanging upside down with rope tied around her waist.

Y/n pov (age 10)

I was climbing the place trying to get to my favorite place to watch the sunset. there wasn't much I did at this time since I didn't have a family to go home to all I had was a cat that followed me since I was a child who I named Dalila she was on my shoulders as I climbed.

I find places I could grab on to them my foot sliped " WHOAA" luckily I wasn't that high form the balcony and had rope but the Prince was there he stared at me wide eyes I guess I scared him. "Hehe sorry" I said rubbing the back of my head.

"What were you doing up there"

"Uhh trying to get a good view hehe sorry this is the first time I messed up"

We heared footsteps coming to the door and he helped me pull myself up " Prince are you alright we heard a scream and-"
"I didn't hear anything are you sure it was from here?" They talked a bit more then they left.
"Why did you help me?"
"Your just a kid and you weren't doing anything wrong"
"Thank you" I pulled my rope down and rolled it up and put it on my hip "Well I should be going I got to see the sunset so I'm happy and I don't want to be a burden to you so bye".

Atem pov

She jumped over the railing "Wait" I ran over and looked over the rail "yea" she was hanging on the tiny grip at the bottom of the balcony. She then pulled her self up and looked at me " what's your name?" She smiled.
"Y/n" she looked down "goodbye Prince atem" she started to climb down. I felt something jump on my head then jump over the balcony " there you are Dalila" I walked inside and went to sleep.

Y/n pov

I walked to what I called home. It was a small room with a few pillows on the ground up about ten steps. Dalila went to where we sleep and laied down next to her. I petted her until I went to sleep.

*next day*

" HEY GET BACK HERE" I stole a few fruit and fish from a vender and now guards are after me. " YOU HAVE TO CATCH ME FIRST haha" there was a little shortcut that only I knew that I was able to slip into losing the guards. I looked over to Dalila " let's head home and eat okay" she nodded her head and we headed off. Once we got home we say sat down and started eating " ahh well that was fun" Dalila just shook her head. " hey it's not like I can get a job without having to work in on the place 24/7 or being a slave of some sort it's my only choose right now" I looked out the window I could see the place a bit. I got up and stretched Maybe I should see the Prince at sunset I stayed home the rest of the day mostly in my thoughts.
