"meow" My head instantly shot up and saw Dalila with keys dangling from her mouth behind the bar. "ah nice work girl I knew I could count on you," I said quietly she just rolled her eyes " I own you something now don't I". Dalila nodded "sigh figures" I unlocked the door and slowly opened it the guard was asleep. Dalila hopped on my shoulder. "should we put him in" I said with a smile she just shook her head. "alright fine buzz kill" she then bit my ear " alright alright I'm going" I said

as I ran down the corridor. I was about to turn the corner when I heard voices coming from that way "shit" I looked around the only place to hid was in another cell 'if It's my only chance of getting out of here'. I opened the cell door and hid in the shadows. "Should we twll the Pharoh about her?"
"You heard what priest Seto said he'll just let her out if he sees her in there"
"Your right that Theif has the Pharoh wrapped around her finger"
There voices faded as they went down the hall that's when I took my chance to run for it. I saw a window and climbed through it. It was night outside. I kept running "Alright let's hea-" I stoped In my tracks and saw Atem on his balcony. I looked down at the ground realizing what I had to do. Dalila nuzzled her head against mine trying to make me smile but it didn't work. I looked at my milliunium bracelet "dad said this would help me when I needed it so" I kept staring at the bracelet "will you help me figure out what i should do I'm so confused" dalila and I both stared at the bracelet hopping to get some kind of response "GAH what's the point of having this Damn thing if it won't even help me" I sat down on the sand and tried to take it off but it wouldn't buge "sigh right the only way for me to get it off is if I die that's why I'm still alive akefia was about to kill me then I told him about my relationship with atem"  I stood up and countiued on my way home when we made it back dalila went to her bed and fell asleep. "Hmmm we need to lay low for a few days steal only a little that it won't be notice " I looked out my "window" and sighed "and...maybe  do the drity deed tomorrow night" I said looking at a dagger.

*time skip night time*

I was on the balcony looking at the dagger 'should I really do this'
"Y/n?" I jumped and quickly hid the knife. "O-oh hi Atem"
"Where were you last night? I was worried" he was worried 'hmmm atem please don't make this harder on me'
"I-I umm I had things to do yeah hehe" he gave me a confused look then turned his attention to the sky "If you say so" I looked at the sky for a bit then took a few steps back and went behind him. 'You can do it y/n' I pulled out the dagger I felt tears about to fall from my eyes 'you can do it ' .I was about to stab him when I drop to my knees and started crying "I can't do it"
I felt a hand on my shoulder "y/n"
I pushed him back "I could never kill you" I saw his eyes widen "y/n you wer-"
"I had no chose he made me but I don't care any more you were the first  person that showed me any kindness since my parents died" I wiped my tears away "I don't care if he kills me as long as your still alive I could care less on what happens to me" I grabbed the dagger and chucked it. I was still crying and felt atem hug me I tried to push him away but he only tighten his grip. I soon gave up and we stayed like that for a while I don't even remember falling asleep.
