Andrea's POV
I walked to the door and peeked inside...i sighed in relief its just Justin talking on the phone..he must of felt me staring..he looked up.. i opend the door more and smiled "Just wanted to say Hi" I smiled and waved... he smiled and nodded
i walked down stairs to see my mom sleeping on the couch
"Mom" I whispered... she woke up and looked around, she spotted me behind the couch and smiled... "Can we go to starbucks?" I asked, she nodded and got up, she grabbed her purse we walked out i looked at the stairs before heading out...i had a feeling like Caden came from school early i bit my lip
We arrived at starbucks a few mins later...she went to go order i took a seat at a table.. i looked around, i looked at the window and saw a park across the street i smiled at the children..
"Here Sweetie, soy latte?" Mom smiled, i licked my lips "My favorite" I said, we sipped our drinks and made small talk
"We should get back before Caden those" She said, i nodded and we left...
-NEXT DAY-
I woke up and got dressed for school.. I put on a white skater skirt a black crop top and some black wedges "I guess so" i said looking in the mirror
i walked down stairs to see pancakes and my new loving family, i smiled and grabbed a pancake and bit into it
"mmmm" i said closing my eyes for a few seconds, they chuckled at me..
"Sis you ready?" Caden said, i nodded and we walked out the door and got into his car...
It took about 5 mins to get to the school, Caden parked and we got out.. we walked inside the building and we went to our lockers...
ours are right next to each others...
"Drea? Is That You" Someone said, i turned around and my eyes widen
"Jay!" I yelled and brought him into a hug.. i could feel eyes on me, i turned around
"Caden this is Jayson" I said smiling poking Jayson in the tummy, he chuckled
"Hey Man" Jayson said, "Hey" Caden said then shut his locker... walking off... "Hey nice seeing you Jayson! I'll see you around!" I say and run carefully to catch up with Caden
"Caden whats wrong?" I asked... he clenched his jaw and stopped walking... i stopped too
"Who's that?" He asked... "Who Jayson? He was my old best friend" I say answering his questions
He clenched his jaw again "He likes you.." He said rolling his eyes "What no he doesnt" I say defending
"Yes He Does! Did you see the way he looked at you?" He said rolling his eyes again "So what if he does? i dont like him like that! and plus your my brother Caden..your suppose to support me here.." I said looking him in the face
"Dont you see it! I dont even wanna be your brother!!" He yelled, i was taken back.. my eyes feeled with hurt..
"W-why not" I said tears forming in my eyes...
"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU!" He yelled he rolled his eyes and walked away..
"CADEN WAIT!" I yelled he stopped and turned around.. "You know i love you to..but we cant.." I said sadly..
He sucked his teeth "why not?" He asked hurt in his voice... "Becuase i will get sent to another family...Caden we cant do it" I said sternly
He shook his head..."then dont EVER talk to me again, go be with Jayson he likes you" He stiffled a laugh and walked away..
I just stood there shocked.. i took off my heels and ran into the bathroom... i started crying and crying..
one hour later i was just sitting in the bathroom floor looking dreadful...i had no more tears to cry..
the bell rung signalling first period is over... i got up and walked over to the sink, i wiped off the running eye-liner and replied some more on... my eyes were red and puffy.. i sighed..
"Oh look the bitch is crying" Skylar said.. i gasped low and grabbed my stuff from the floor about to walk out
until her friend stopped me.. "Move" i simply said.. she denied.. i took a deep breath and pushed her out the way
i walked out..
I walked out the school and ran all the way home... i opend the door with my key and ran inside i slammed the front door and threw my stuff on the couch.
i walked through the kitchen and i saw mom.. she looked at me and smiled, her smile faded when she saw that i was crying..
"Sweetie were you crying??" She asked, i jsut started sobbing into her shoulder.. she led me to the living room and we sat on the couch
i layed my head on her lap and told her everything, she was very comforting...i soon drifted off to sleep
Caden's POV
After school, i waited for Andrea, but she never came out.. i looked at my phone
"Andrea is already home" A Text from mom said.. i sighed and got in my car and drove home
i parked and then walked in the house, i saw Andrea sleeping with her head on my moms lap on the couch..
i sighed... "were gonna talk later young man.." My mom snapped... i sighed
"CADEN!" My dad yelled... my eyes widen.. i walked to the backyard... "Yes?" I asked
"Can you take the trash out and clean the pool out?" He asked smiling... i sighed in relief "Sure" i said
