Hey guys! I'm back with another chapter! Sorry about not updating for a long time but here it is... chapter 4. oh yeah umm... in this fanfic, katniss and peeta didn't win the 75th hunger games and there is no war.

Percy's POV:

After I shook hands with Scarlett, four peacekeepers surrounded me and led me to the small rooms where family and friends could visit you one last time before the games.

My heart was beating really fast, out of thousands of boys it is me. I have to go in the hunger games.

"You have 5 minute" the peacekeeper said as Annabeth came in.

Annabeth rushed forwards and hugged me with tears in her eyes.

"No, you can't go into the games!" she cried.

"It's okay," I assured her," I'll win,for you,"

I pressed my lips against hers and kissed her gently. After a while we both pulled apart, gasping for air.

A peacekeeper came in and tool Annabeth out.

" Please win Percy!" she yelled as the door shut.

A while later my mom came in and hugged. She had tears streaming down her face.

I wiped it away and told her," It's okay mom, I'll win this," before the peacekeeper dragged her away.

Soon after that, Effie came in.

"We're boarding the train now" Effie exclaimed. " Time to meet your mentors."

The train was huge and had many marble tables out lined in gold. I decided I needed some time alone and headed to the back of the bus.

What really surprised me was when I opened the doors, I saw a pretty girl my age with golden princess curls looking out the huge glass window.

I gasped, " Annabeth, what are you doing here?"

Annabeth turned around and looked at me, her startling grey eyes red and puffy from crying.

" This year they didn't let there to be volunteers. After I said good bye to you, they dragged me on the train instead of Scarlett,"

I sat down next to her and rubbed circles into her back while she sobbed into my chest.

My heart dropped, I couldn't kill Annabeth. I made a silent promise to the gods that I would keep Annabeth safe no matter what happened. Even if it costs me my life.

" It's okay Annabeth, we'll get out of the games, I promise," I half lied.

After Annabeth calmed down, we walk back to the middle of the train together and sat down next to each other across from Effie.

" Your mentor is here," Effie announced.

Right after she said that, a drunk man swayed in and sat next to Effie.

"So," the man said as he took a sip of the beer and the table. " My name is Haymitch," he took another sip of the beer. "Do you guys no each other?" He asked us.

"Percy's my boyfriend," Annabeth answer.

"Oh, well!" Haymitch exclaimed. "The games will be very interesting with you two lovers in it! We'll I better get going, the train will arrive at the capital soon."

Haymitch opened the doors and left. Soon after, Effie left too.

" What are we going to do?" Annabeth wailed. "I'm not sure, " I finally answered after some thinking.

Three peacekeepers came in and assorted us out after the train got to the capital.
