Percy's Pov

What the Hades happened in my room? That was the only thought going through my head when Annabeth led me to the dining hall.

Every once in a while, Annabeth would glace back at me with a worried look. Who attacked me when I was asleep?

"Finally! You to are here!" Effie exclaims."Come, eat!"

"So," Haymich slurs. " What were you two loverbirds doing in Peter's room?"

"It's Percy," Annabeth and I say at the same time,

Annabeth's face was bright red. I'm pretty sure mine was too. "Nothing!" we yell.

"Well," Effie says. "Tomorrow is the first day of your training, I advise you to find a weapon you're good at then go to the survival stations, most tributes die from lack of water or inedible food."

Annabeth stiffled a laugh when Effie said "lack of water"

When we finished our dinner, we quickly excused ourselves to go to bed. I walked into my room and took a warm shower. After pulling on a pair of sweatpants, there was a knock at my door.

"Come in!" I yelled.

Annabeth walked in in her pajamas. "Hi Percy," she sighed and sat on my bed. I grabbed a shirt to put on and sat down next to Annabeth.

"So," I started. "Any strategies on how we'll survive?"

"No," Annabeth moaned miserably and tears started to form in her eyes. "I don't want to lose you," she sobbed.

"It's okay, we'll get out of the games alive," I half lied to her. Again.

After Annabeth calmed down, we spent the rest of the night together making plans.

"When the games begin, you run into the forest if there is one and I will get supplies." I began.

"No!" Annabeth immediantly vetoed my idea. "We'll get supplies together. What if you died in the bloodbath? Then what would I do?" Annabeth asked.

"Fine," I agreed to her plan.

When we were done discussing plans, it was already 11 o' clock.

"Can I stay here with you?" Annabeth asked as she pulled the covers over her.

"Sure Wisegirl," I answered soon, I fell asleep with Annabeth in my arms.
