I woke up freezing. I turned and saw that my window had been opened. I didn't understand why someone would have come in and opened my window. It was far too cold for that.
I climbed out of bed shivering and reached for my sweatshirt. I walked to the window and stopped to breathe in the fresh air before I closed it. Pulling down on it, it seemed stuck. "Ugh close stupid freaking window" I was holding all my weight on it now and it wouldn't budge.
Suddenly a huge wind blew straight my direction, blowing so hard it knocked me on my back a few feet away from the window. I saw something, something flying with the wind. I tried to get up and shut the window before whatever it was could fly in but the wind was still too strong. The black mass got closer and closer to my window and I screamed. My lights suddenly came on, flickered and shut off.
That distracted me just long enough that when I turned around the large black shadow, wind swirling all about it, was only a few feet away from me. I started to scream again and found a hand over my mouth. "Hush" it said simply.
I opened my eyes and saw a white hand on my mouth. I followed the arm up and saw the shadow of a body. The swirling black wind he came in with turned to dust and fell on my floor, and then disappeared. "WHAT?! Who are you?! Get away!" I screamed through the persons hand.
It took a small step into the light and I saw a pale face, with white hair covered in ash. "G-Gerard?" I asked
"You could say that." He said
"What are you doing here?! And how.. I mean What-"
"I told you hush" he whispered and put his hand back over my mouth.
"I'm going to take you somewhere. But you can't see the way, so you have to be asleep."
"Where are you taking me?"
"You'll see" he replied as he put his hand over my eyes and I fell asleep.
