Chapter 36 - The wolves are out

~~Mike's POV~~

"Finally." I breathe as we pull into the park after 15 agonizing minutes in the car with these girls and Vic.

"Aww, Mike hates us." Vic pouts. He was being just as annoying. I just can't.

"I do not hate you. Any of you. You guys are just..." I trail searching for the right word without being offensive.

"Rowdy?" Jace questions with a giggle.

"THE WOLVES ARE OUT ITS ABOUT TO GET ROWDY!" Bee shouts followed by laughter.

"Rowdy is a good word. But try not to get us kicked out of the park?" I plead, earning some eye rolls.

"You got it, dude!" Shan smiles, sticking her thumb up like Tony does. Cute.

"So, uh, we just gonna sit in the parked car until we die of heatstroke or...?" Liz sasses.

"Tony just texted and said they're waiting by the entrance." Vic informs.

"Heh heh... entrance." Bee jokes to no one in particular, and that time I laugh.

"Ew, stop." Jace smacks her shoulder lightly, not impressed by the joke.

We all climb out of the car and into the San Diego heat. We start making our way to the gate and as we get closer, you can see the guys and Bridin standing at the gate. Vic and Jace are lost in chatter, like always when they hangout. They're so close. Shan and Liz are giggling about something and... Wait.

I look around and notice, a few paces back, Bee has stopped completely in her tracks, like a deer in the headlights. She has a shocked, almost petrified look on her face as she stares toward the gate. No one else seems to notice that she stopped so I walk back over to her.

"Hey, you okay?"

"Why. How... What?" She mutters. Okay, that wasn't English.

"Okay... Um, try to form a sentence." I chuckle lightly at her flustered state. Why are flustered people so cute?

"Why is Ronnie here?" She gapes. Oh, she's trying to keep her shit together.

"Well, if you keep walking to the gate, maybe you'll find out." I smirk, not giving her a straight answer.

"Mike." She rolls her eyes.

"Bee." She sighs as a response. I laugh, pulling her into a hug, which she returns, burying her face in my chest with a groan. I rub her back a little before pulling away to look her in the eyes. She looks so fragile.

"You'll be fine. He's just a dude. Just be calm." I coo, trying my best to keep her calm.

"Right. Yeah, I can do that." She nods giving me a smile and I return it. We start walking up to the gate again, my arm slung lazily around the short girl's shoulders. By the time we reach the gate, everyone is waiting on us. We are greeted by smiles all around, except from Ronnie, who seems to be giving me a tiny glare. Its then I realize that my arm is around Bee and even though he knows I'm taken, Ronnie is a jealous guy. There's no denying it. I just casually remove my arm, it's not a big deal really.

"Hey guys! This is Bridin, my little sister." Tony introduces with a smile, nudging his normally not shy sister forward a little.

"Hi!" She squeaks with a small wave. She's adorable.

"Wow... I mean, hi! I'm Lizbeth." Liz states, looking at a blushing Bridin dreamily. They'd be cute. I ship it.

We all say our hellos, and head into the park. It takes less than 5 seconds of looking at the map for everyone to decide they want to do different things.

"Jace and I are going to see the penguins!" Vic exclaims before grabbing the blondes hand and running off into what I'm assuming is the direction of the penguins.

"Anyone wanna go see the seals?" Bridin asks, eyeing the map.

"I LOVE SEALS." Liz gapes making Tony's sister giggle.

"Well, let's go then!" Bridin shouts excitedly, pulling Liz behind her. I don't miss how Liz checked out her ass, but I'm thankful Tony did.

"Hey, Hime, go with them." I demand gently and he nods in understanding. They are kids after all.

"Hey, you trouble makers! Wait up!" Hime calls, bounding after the pair.

"Okay, well I'm melting so I'm all about getting drenched." Bee informs, pointing at some water ride.

"Saucy." I tease, earning a smack to the chest from the girl.

"Fuck off, you know what I meant." She laughs.

"Well, I'm going wherever you go." Ronnie states confidently, smiling at Bee, who smirks.

"That is, if you can keep up." She challenges before darting off into the park, a laughing Ronnie not far behind. Damn. They're cute.

"And then there were three." Tony laughs.

"What do you wanna see, Shan? We will do whatever you want." I inform, Tone nodding in agreement.

"Let's go see turtles!" She exclaims making Tone squeal in excitement.

"YES! I was hoping you'd say turtles." He rushes to the pink haired girl, wrapping her in a quick hug. He pulls away and grabs her hand and they start to run off. What is with all this running today?

"You coming, Mikey?!" They call back in unison. I laugh at the unintentional dirty joke before taking off after them. It's gonna be a fun day.
