~~Tony's POV~~

I take a sip of the coffee in front of me, letting the drink warm my insides while the sun warms my outsides. The steam from my coffee is fogging my glasses a little but it quickly fades because of the light breeze. I'm sitting outside at a little café waiting for JayCee. After a fair bit of convincing from Vic, she agreed to meet up with me today, Sunday, at 1. I got here early... Like really early. I'm fucking nervous.

I pull out my phone and check the time. I sigh to myself. Its 1:15. I've been here since 12:30. She's not going to come, is she? Man. I fucked up so bad. I put my elbows on the table and bury my face in my hands.

Shit.

This is going to make practice awkward. If she even comes to practice. What if she asks to be assigned to a different band?

Double shit.

She likes the others though, so maybe she won't do that. Then again, it only takes one to ruin it for everyone.

I'm shaken from my thoughts when someone clears their throat in front of me. I look up to meet her gaze, her piercing blue eyes filled with annoyance and slight sadness. I smiled a small smile and gestured for her to take a seat. I really thought she was going to stand me up.

"I didn't think you were going to show..." I state sheepishly and nervously scratch the back of my neck.

"Sorry. There was traffic. Driving here sucks." She says sounding completely uninterested and annoyed. She's staring at the menu like if she looks away, she will die. Obviously avoiding eye contact but I don't blame her.

We fall into an awkward silence. I'm about to say something when a girl approaches our table. She has a white apron tied around her waist and is wearing black pants with a tight white v-neck. Her hair is longish and dyed a light shade of pink. Her skin is dark, she is of average height and she is clutching a small notepad and pen. She's cute, to say the least.

"Hi! I'm Shantelle but you can call me Shan! I'll be your server today." She perked, seeming very excited but still trying to keep her cool. Then it hits me, she's a fan. I could lie and say I drew this conclusion all on my own but I didn't. I'm not that clever. I noticed she was wearing a PTV bracelet.

"Hi Shan!" I pipe. "You're a fan?" When I ask, her face drops slightly.

Fuck. Did I say something wrong?

"Shit. I'm sorry. I was trying to keep my chill. Was it really that obvious?" She sounds a little disappointed in herself and I chuckle lightly.

"No, you were great! You're wearing a PTV bracelet." I point to her wrist and her cheeks tint red.

"Right. I knew that." She mumbles under her breath.

"I'm actually impressed with how you didn't fangirl, you seem so young. How old are you?" JayCee chimes in, a wide smile on her face.

"I'm 18. And, I don't know, I was taking advice from a friend." She giggles lightly before continuing. "She always says 'you have to keep your cool when you meet famous people, 'cause crazy bitches don't get shit'."

That makes me laugh, not only because it's funny but because it's kind of true. Fangirls can be scary. Brendon Urie had to move a few months ago because of a crazy fan. JayCee is laughing too and it's good to see her relaxing.

"That sounds like something Sydney would say." Jace laughs, rolling her eyes playfully at the mention of her best friend.

"No way!" Shan gasps. "The friend who told me that's name is Sydney too! I doubt it's the same one though. My Sydney lives in Alaska."
