Ellington's POV

I woke up with the biggest smile on my face the next morning. I'd spent the whole night before with the most beautiful girl I'd ever met. I could remember how the lights hanging around the ice rink made her big brown eyes all sparkly, like she was almost in tears from how happy she was. I knew she was happy. The big smile on her face after I kissed her in the hall last night told me she was happy.

I rolled out of bed and glanced out the window. Rydel was probably awake by now, she always woke up early. The sun was shining despite the cold temperatures outside. We had a show later today, then we were out of New York and onto the next city. I looked at the skyscrapers that covered the whole window scenery. I heard my phone buzz on the end table next to my bed. It was Rydel.

"Good morning!" Her cheery voice sang over the phone.

"Morning." I laughed. I could tell she was in a good mood.

"So what are you up to?" She asked. I could almost see the smile on her face through the phone.

"Well, I have soundcheck for this little band I play in, maybe you've heard of us? R5?" I teased.

"I think I' might've actually," she giggled. "Is that the one with the really cute drummer?"

"Yeah, he's pretty good looking I gotta say. Oh, but first I have to eat breakfast. Do you know anywhere I could go?" I asked as I pulled some clothes out of my suitcase.

"I think I do, and if you need a pretty blonde to eat with you, I know someone else who could help with that."

"Cute." I laughed. "I'll meet you at your room in a few, we can get your brothers and go out."

"Okay! See you then!"

I hungup the phone and threw it onto the bed. I got showered and got dressed. I looked in the mirror as I walked out of the room, I hadn't shaved in forever. Rocky and I were seeing who could go the longest without shaving, but mine was getting annoying. It was pokey.

I walked into the hallway and saw Rocky and Ross walking towards me.

"Hey guys." I said. They looked at each other and smirked.

"Hey Ellington." Rocky looked even more suspicious than that time he was about to bomb me with silly string a few mornings ago.

"Where ya headed?" Ross rocked from his toes to his heels and held his arms behind his back.

"Rydel's room..." I replied, slowly.

"Oh really? And why's that?" Rocky asked.

"To say hi," They both just stared at me. "Why are you being so weird?"

"Have fun." Ross said. They both ran down the hallway. I brushed it off and kept walking to Rydel's room.
