Rydel's POV

I could hardly fall asleep later that night. As soon as I laid down, all I could think about was Ellington. We spent the entire night ice skating in the most beautiful city I'd ever been to. Actually, attempting to ice skate. Ellington was just fine, but I was a little rusty. You'd think growing up with 4 hockey-playing brothers I'd be pretty good on the ice, but that's not it at all. Ellington didn't seem to mind though. In fact, I think he might've liked it even better that way, he constantly had to keep me up and catch me from falling. I hardly even let go of his arm all night. Thinking about how amazing the night was made me sure about how I felt towards Ellington. I wanted to tell everyone about us, but I couldn't yet.

I woke up the next morning with a huge smile on my face. I stood up and opened the curtains to the big window in my room. The sun started shining in, lighting up the entire room. Today we had a show, then we were out of New York for a while. Part of me didn't want to leave. As of last night, I had so many memories here that I wanted to keep forever. Last night, Ellington and I had gone on about how we would move here some day. It was just dreaming, but it could always come true. As I was staring out the window at the busy city below, someone knocked on the hotel room door. I walked over to answer it, still in my pajamas. I opened the door to see Rocky and Ross standing in front of me. Part of me was slightly dissapointed that it wasn't Ellington.

"Hey, what's up?" I asked running my fingers through my slightly tangled hair. I guess I'd forgotten to put it up before I went to bed last night.

"Can we come in?" Rocky asked. There was a suspicious smile on his face. He and Ross both walked in and sat down on the end of my bed. I shook off whatever nerves I was feeling and pulled a chair over to sit across from them.

"So where were you last night?" Ross asked with a smirk. "We missed you at dinner."

"I was out," I scrambled for an aswer. "Shopping." I blurted. Ross and Rocky both looked at each other and smiled.

"Mom said you stayed in to catch up on rest." Ross replied.

"First I went shopping." I tried to make my story add up, but it didn't seem to be working.

"By yourself? Because when Rocky and I came back early from dinner, there were two people in the hall and they looked really familiar." Ross had a sarcastic look on his face. "Didn't they look familiar, Rocky." He looked at the brother next to him.

"Very familiar." Rocky replied. He cocked one of his eyebrows.

"Alright, fine." I blurted out. I was already busted. "I went out with Ellington last night."

"Awww." Ross and Rocky both looked at each other with the same expression.

"You can't tell anyone though, especially Riker." I added.

"Why not? It's not like he'll beat him up or whatever, he's Riker." Rocky asked.

"I know, but I don't want to risk him thinking this will mess up the band." I answered. I pulled my feet up onto the chair.

"I guess you're right, he's kind of crazy about that kind of stuff." Ross agreed.

"Ryland already knows, and now you guys do to, but that's it. No one else can find out until Ellington and I decide to tell everyone. Okay?" I hoped they'd understand. They both nodded and stood up.

"One more thing, I had no idea you had a thing for drummers." Rocky gave me a cocky smile. I pretended to smile and pushed them both out the door. Once they were gone, I realized that I had to tell Ellington that they knew. It felt nice having more people know about us, but at the same time it was a little scary. I knew I could trust my brothers, but what if they accidentally slipped it out at a concert? I wasn't ready to tell everyone about our relationship, and I knew Ellington wasn't either.
