Unpredictable (VegetaxGoku)

Goku: "Chichi!"

"Chichi! Can't we just talk-" the door slammed on Goku's face. Goku had one bag of clothes with him and that was it. It wasn't like Goku owned much more than that anyways.

"No! I don't want to hear any of it! This is the last straw! I want you out of my house and away from my kids!" Chichi shouted from behind the door. "Mom! Let dad expla-"

"Go make sure your brother is alright, Gohan!" Chichi shouted. (Gohan was visiting.) There was silence for a brief moment then Chichi started up again. "Now, unless you learn how to become more civil and not so much alien, then you can call me and I will consider. Until that happens, I am considering divorce!"

Goku couldn't believe his ears. This woman, the one he has protected for years and loved more than anything, just said the word divorce. Goku was unsure how to respond to that. They have fought many times and Goku was able to get her to calm down and see his side. Now, she seemed so angry that she couldn't hear anything past herself. Goku knew the best thing to do was give her some time to think and plenty of space. She would soon come to her senses.

Goku grabbed his bag. He shouted, loud enough so he could be heard through the door, "I will be back in a month to prove I am more civil. Until then, bye Chichi!" There was no response but Goku was sure she heard him. He wanted Chichi happy so he was actually going to try and be "civil". Goku was sure it wouldn't matter because Chichi would calm down eventually but he didn't see it hurting and trying to do what she wants.

Goku flew into the sky and just hovered as he thought on where he could stay for a while. The first person he thought of was Krillin but then he remembered that 18 just found out she was pregnant. Probably not the best time to bother the two, Goku thought to himself. The second place he thought of was Master Roshi's. Goku didn't want to bother Master Roshi but it was either that or ask Bulma. With Vegwta and Bulma never going a day without arguing, Goku would just rather avoid that situation as much as possible.

Vegeta and Bulma got divorced not long after they married. Goku doesn't even know if it lasted a year. Yet, it amazed Goku on how much the two could get along together. They are the best of friends and the best of enemies. They know so much about each other that they are always on the others case. It is just a messed up life that Goku knew he couldn't stand all that much and it made him feel so bad for Trunks. Trunks ends up spending time with his grandpa, Dr. Briefs, or with Gohan and Goten. It angered Chichi seeing Trunks have to deal with such a household and, even though he thought it a bit sad, Goku never thought it was his right to judge because Trunks is a happy kid.

Goku made his mind and flew over to Master Roshi's. He landed at the front door and gave it a knock. "Hello? Master Roshi! It is me, Goku." Master Roshi opened the door and smiled at the Saiyan. "Well, hi there Goku. What brings you here?" Master Roshi must have spotted the bag in Goku's hand because he then asked, "And what is with the bag?"

"Chichi kicked me out. I think she needs some time to cool down. So can I stay here for about a month?"

Master Roshi stepped to the side and allowed Goku in. Master Roshi shut the door once Goku was in and asked, "So what has that woman mad this time?" Goku set the bag down and turned to his old teacher. "She said that I should become more "civil" or she was going to file a divorce."

"Whoa! Are you serious?" Master Roshi shouted. He forcefully made Goku sit down on the floor, at table, and the old perv sat across from him. Goku was confused and also didn't know what to talk about. It wasn't anything bad. Chichi will get over it soon.

"I wouldn't worry about it too much," Goku reassured his teacher. "I know Chichi and she wouldn't do something like that. She is just needing to blow off some steam. That is all."

"I hope you are right, Goku. I could never think of you and Chichi being apart forever. I am sure that the boys will have a bit of a hard time as well."

"Well, Chichi said that they wouldn't notice as much because I am not around much anyways. That is what she said anyways."

"She does realize how many times you have died right? How many times you had to save the world to protect them?"

"Yeah. I even reminded her but she said that it is just excuses. Like I said, she just needs to take a breather and calm down. That is how Vegeta needs to calm down as well."

Master Roshi gave Goku a questioning look but Goku didn't really notice. Goku stood up and stretched. "So where will I be sleeping?" Goku asked. "You can sleep in the spare room. Why don't you put your stuff up there." Goku grabbed his bag and said hi to Turtle before he headed upstairs to the spare room. Goku placed his bag on the bed and looked around the plain room. There was a dresser, bed and a body mirror in the corner. It wasn't anything special but Goku didn't plan to stay here long.

Oh boy! First chapter! ...I am trying guys. I am really trying not to hate on this ship because I just don't agree with it. *takes a deep breath and slaps self* ok! Ow that hurt!
