Goku watched Vegeta with his boy walk out of the house and, when the door shut, Bulma sighed. Bulma pulled out some pots and pans while Goku sat down at the island in the kitchen.
"Everything alright, Bulma?" Goku asked.
"Vegeta needs to get out of the house more. He has become so stubborn and refuses to leave the house. I have to basically pull my own teeth out to get him to leave the house. All he does is train in the gravity chamber and lay around the house. He needs to do something or my next route is kicking him out of the house and I prefer not to do that." Bulma took a deep breath after she was done ranting.
"Since Vegeta doesn't really have any one else he can go to like me," Goku stated more to himself.
"Exactly. But if he doesn't start doing things outside of this house, I am going to have to kick him out," Bulma said then sighed.
"I can help," Goku said enthusiastically.
"Oh, Goku. Thank you but you have to try acting more civil. That is impossible for Vegeta. Helping him will only distract you." Bulma was actually being serious but Goku wanted to help.
"Well, how about, half of everyday I spend time with Vegeta and the other half you can help me be civil. Since I won't be able to do it on my own." Goku had a smile on his face and it made Bulma realize he was serious.
"Are you sure, Goku? Vegeta is stubborn," Bulma reminded.
"I know! I have known him for as long as you have. It is the ultimate challenge I am wanting to accept," Goku said, showing the excitement he had. Bulma raised an eyebrow at Goku but then shrugged.
"Alright. Sounds like a plan!"
"Alright!" Goku shouted as he basically jumped out of his seat. "I'm going to go tell-"
"Goku," Bulma called, making him stop from trying to leave the house. "I think you should let me break it to him. I will do it first thing tomorrow. Like I said, he is stubborn."
"Oh yeah, right." Goku sat back down. "Then what should I do right now while you cook?" Goku asked.
"I think Vegeta and Trunks are outside playing catch or baseball. You should go join."
"Ok," Goku chirped then left through the doors to see Vegeta and Trunks playing catch.
"Hey Getes! Trunks! Can I join?" Goku shouted. Trunks threw the ball right as Goku shouted and Vegeta turned, not realizing Trunks had thrown the ball and it hit Vegeta right in the chest. Trunks must have put some power to it because it made Vegeta stumble back and then try to catch his breath.
Goku burst out laughing and he ended up holding his sides as they began to hurt. Goku fell backwards as he continued laughing.
Suddenly Goku felt something hit his leg and it hurt really bad, making Goku sit up and grab his leg. Goku soon realized that it was the baseball. Goku looked up and saw Vegeta glaring at him. Goku smiled and grabbed the baseball, throwing it at Vegeta as hard as he could.
Vegeta's eyes widened as he held out his hands to grab the ball. When the ball made contact with Vegeta's hands, it made his feet slide back in the dirt.
"How was that throw?" Goku teased.
Vegeta glared at Goku then turned Super Saiyan Blue and drew back his hand with the ball, readying a throw.
"Uh oh!" Goku said and turned Super Saiyan Blue himself. Vegeta was about to throw the ball but stopped when there was an angered voice from the house.
"No fighting in or around the house!" Bulma shouted from a window. "Also, no going Blue in or around the house! Got it you two?" Bulma shouted again.
Goku got out of his Super Saiyan Blue form and rubbed the back of his head as he chuckled nervous. "Sure thing, Bulma." Goku saw Bulma glare over towards Vegeta and Goku turned to see Vegeta still Super Saiyan Blue. He was glaring back at Bulma, seeming to stand his ground.
"Vegeta," Bulma warned.
Vegeta suddenly crushed the baseball in his hands. He then went out of being Super Saiyan Blue and dropped the destroyed baseball, walking off. Bulma groaned in anger and annoyance and shut the window.
"I needed a new ball anyways," Goku heard Trunks say. Goku began to chuckle and Trunks did as well. Goku saw Trunks grab the destroyed ball out of the corner of his eye.
Goku sat down where he was and Trunks sat down as well, still holding the destroyed baseball.
"So, how have things been, Trunks?" Goku asked.
"I've been ok."
"No problems with your dad and mom?"
"Oh there have always been problems. Nothing new. So everything is fine with me. I do have to agree with my mom that my dad has been almost seeming depressed. He needs to get out and do something."
Goku chuckled at hearing Trunks say that. "Well, don't worry much about that. I will be helping with that."
"What do you mean?" Trunks asked.
"For half a day, every day for a month, I will be helping your father get a bit more social."
"Are you sure with that?" Trunks asked, seeming a bit worried.
"Oh yeah! It will be fun!" Goku chirped.
Trunks chuckled. "Now I see what my mom means."
"What?" Goku asked, cocking his head to the side, showing his confusion.
"Don't worry about it," Trunks stated.
"Trunks! Goku! Vegeta! Dinner is ready!" Bulma shouted.
"Beat you to the kitchen!" Goku shouted as he began to head to the kitchen. As Goku was about to enter the house, Vegeta zipped past him reaching the kitchen first.
"Hey, Dad! You finally beat Goku!" Trunks shouted as he entered the house after Goku.
"You're damn right!" Vegeta said from the kitchen. That just made Goku and Trunks laugh.
Sorry for the long wait on this! Kind of had some problems that deal with me having a life. Which sucks because having a life sucks! 😅 Anyways, hope you enjoyed!
