Vegeta: "Why Him?"

Vegeta dodged out of the way as Bulma threw a pillow at him. The pillow ended up hitting a vase and knocking it over, having it break on the ground.

"Now look what you did!" Bulma shouted.

"Look what I- You are the one throwing things!" Vegeta shouted back.

"You are the one that started to argue!" Bulma shouted even louder.

"I just told you I didn't want to go out to lunch with you!" Vegeta shouted, getting louder then Bulma.

"You didn't have to be so rude about it! I was trying to be nice! Trying to get you out of the damn house and away from training!" Bulma shouted some more.

"I don't need to get out of the house! And I always train! What is so different now?" Vegeta shouted back at Bulma.

"The fact that it has almost been 6 months since you have done anything but train! You are just so fucking focussed on surpassing Goku! I swear you are in love with the damn fool with how much you talk about him!" Bulma shouted then turned and walked to a different part of the house.

"You know that is not true! Me being in love with Kakarot?! He is my rival!" Vegeta shouted as he followed after her.

"That is a load of shit and you know it! I know you better then anyone else. Don't try to act all tough and macho around me! It won't work!" Bulma shouted from the other room. Vegeta growled in frustration and he was about to shout but then, when he got to the room Bulma was in, he was surprised to see her on the phone.

"What are you-" Bulma cut Vegeta off by shushing him. Vegeta huffed in annoyance and went to the living room and sat on the couch.

Vegeta looked over at the clock and saw it was 12:30. Lunch time and it seemed like Bulma was going to go without Vegeta after all but he was ok with that.

"Hey Goku!" Vegeta heard Bulma say rather loud, on purpose to get Vegeta's attention and it worked.

She is going to invite Kakarot? Him out of all people. That woman is really testing me today. Not going to work.

"Well," Bulma came back into the living room. "Goku is coming over. Something is up with him and Chichi, though. He is with Master Roshi."

That made Vegeta turn and face Bulma. "Are you serious?" Vegeta asked.

"Yeah. He said she just needs to cool down but I called Chichi and she sounded really pissed."

"Maybe Kakarot finally pushed her too far," Vegeta grumbled.

Bulma came and sat down right next to Vegeta. Vegeta glanced at her and she had a big smile on her face.

"You sound really hopeful," Bulma teased. Vegeta growled and just kept quiet.

"Oh being Mr. Tough Guy again. I see." Bulma patted his shoulder. "It is ok, gay man. I understand."

"I am not gay!" Vegeta shouted as he stood up. Bulma got up and she looked angry again.

"Oh don't be trying to pull that shit on me! Just admit it and we can stop talking about it!" Bulma shouted.

"There is nothing to admit! I am not gay for Kakarot! I hardly liked you!" Vegeta shouted.

Bulma looked hurt for a second and Vegeta felt bad. He didn't show it and he didn't make any attempts to take what he said back but he did feel bad.

Bulma then looked angry as she crossed her arms over her chest. "That was a low blow even for you! Getting so heated over a topic you know I am right in!" Bulma did an exhaled scream as she plopped back onto the couch.

The two stayed where they were in silence for a good two minutes until Bulma said, "So are you coming or not?"

"Sure," Vegeta said flatly as he sat down next to Bulma. He wasn't going to deny free food, even if Kakarot was involved.

"I am sorry for pushing you Vegeta," Bulma grumbled, still looking a little angry. Vegeta turned away from her and mumbled, "I am sorry, too."

Bulma is the only one that has ever heard or seen Vegeta act this way. Showing just a tiny bit of kindness.

Vegeta thought he owed it to her for still being friends with him. She is the only friend he truly had and knew that he needed her. She needed him. It was too bad they never could get along well enough to be together but being friends was the next best thing. Plus, they also had to keep Trunks in mind as well.

"Where is Trunks?" Vegeta asked.

"He is with my dad. My dad invented this new contraption and Trunks really wanted to see it," Bulma said.

The two went back to being silent and so Bulma decided to turn on some tv. This is basically how their days would normally go. They would wake up, argue, apologies, eat, argue, apologies, eat, do their own thing, sleep. Of course it never went this way exactly but that is how it seemed to others outside of the relationship these two had. Most people didn't get it and that was just fine with Vegeta. No one needed to understand but him and Bulma.

One thing did bother Vegeta a lot though, as they watched tv. Bulma does know him best and she has this weird ability to see things even Vegeta couldn't see of himself.

There is no way she was being serious on me liking Kakarot like that. She had to have been teasing. I have never looked at him and thought of anything but surpassing him.

Vegeta glanced over at Bulma.

You better have been messing with me, Bulma.

Again, not very eventful but next chapter will be I promise! Again, trying to like this ship. Not happening! So let me know if I am getting bias! Thank you and peace out!
