If only they had a cure,
if only they could save me.
I'm trapped in an area
near my hysteria
locked in a land of despair.
If only they found a way
to quiet the voices,
to alter my choices,
if only I had a say,
but "if only" is all I can wish.
If only I knew how to stop this
to drop this
if only I knew of a sentence to say,
If only I hadn't forgotten my place in the world maybe I could remember my way.
If only, if only
I pray to escape
the demons surrounding my blindness, my cage.
If only, if only
they knew how I felt
then they might realize
insanity's hell!
