It's like looking in a mirror
seeing their faces
fear and distrust
unsolved cases
they know what I did
they know everything
they know why I hid
they know every sin
I know they're afraid
when they see my face.
They know,
they know the truth.
I am monster!
I have lied,
about the pain I caused,
about the crime.
I am a monster!
It is true,
The face you see
is not the face you knew.
I am a monster!
I hurt my friends,
I hurt the world
because I hated to pretend
That I was happy!
to be alive,
to be judged for all
that I have ever tried.
They know who I am,
they know I am crazy,
they know I'm dangerous,
and so they went and left me.
They know what I am,
they know I'll never change.
They know why I'm here,
they know I can't be saved.
