My soul aches to touch yours; the passion it has been seeking is finally free, the wanting, the needing, the desire to inspire a heart as broken as yours, to heat a world on fire, to calm a sleeping child, to ignite an idea that can not be controlled, lost, or found, a poem, a song, a sound that can not be unheard, a love so strong that nothing can knock it away, ignore it, for a love so bright can not be turned away from, and that, that love is the love that is buried deep within every human soul, no matter how many scars hide it. My body, spirit, bears every breath, living upon the wish, the hope, that someday the time will come, the day our words meet, our thoughts touch, and our eyes connect, the day the world will know every pain we felt, every miracle we witnessed, every friend we lost. I long for that day, and until that day comes, I can only fight harder, run faster, and love stronger to show the world that we can fix the mistakes we've made while abusing our agency.
