Nyssa's pov

I wake up in the morning on my bed. One of the boys must've found me on the floor last night and put me on my bed. I lay there for a few more moments, not wanting to face the world. Then Ashton interrupts my solitude by calling me down for breakfast. I groan but roll out of bed. I trudge out of my room and downstairs, my blanket wrapped around my shoulders.

As soon as he sees me, Calum's eyes go wide. I roll my eyes and ignore him. I'm not in the mood.

"Where's Lucy?" Luke questions, looking up at me. There it is. He is the one who reopened the wound. I bite my lip, then sit down beside Michael.

"Lucy had to go home. Her mom needed her back home last night," Calum pipes up, helping me out. For once I am grateful for him being around.

"Oh. Okay then. Where did you two run off to last night? Calum wouldn't tell us and you fell asleep," Michael informs me. I send a nasty look over at Calum, who responds by avoiding all eye contact with me.

"None of your business," I answer, sitting there. I'm not hungry.

"Oh come on," Ashton pushes, "you can tell us."

"I said no," I snap, losing control of my temper. Calum's eyes go wide. He knows what I am capable of and is smart enough to stop the others.

"Just leave her alone. She obviously doesn't want to talk about it," Calum cuts in, his eyes darting back and forth to me and the other boys.

"I'll be in my room," I mutter, standing up. I walk back upstairs, listening to the boys whisper to each other about me as I go. I close my eyes and try to tune them out. It doesn't work until I'm alone in my room with the door closed. My peace and quiet is then interrupted by Oliver and Aiden calling me. I don't answer. I just get dressed and run out of the house and to our hideout.

"What happened between you and Lucy?" Aiden demands as soon as I walk in. I quickly launch into the explanation of what happened, just wanting to get it over with. They would find out one way or another anyways.

"Damn. I'm so sorry, Nyssa," Oliver mumbles, hugging me tightly. I return the hug, holding onto him tightly. Aiden joins in, squishing me between the two of them. I don't mind. Then my stupid phone just has to ring.

"What do you want, Calum?" I ask as soon as I answer the phone.

"I'm just warning you that Mark is coming over to talk to all of us later, you included," he answers, "and I figured that you might want to be here so he doesn't assign a body guard, who would have to stay with you at all times, to you."

"Thanks for the warning. When's he going to be there?" I question, running my hand through my hair.

"Two minutes," he responds.

"You waited until now to tell me just so I would run back, didn't you?" I inquire.

"It's so cool how fast you run!" Calum exclaims. I roll my eyes and hang up. I say goodbye to Oliver and Aiden before going back home.
