The week seemed to fly by extremely quick it and before I knew it, I was waking up on Saturday morning. The day of the wedding.

Butterflies filled my stomach but I was prepared for today, I had planned out as many scenarios I could think of and I felt comforted that I almost knew how today was going to plan out.

We had decided that I would get to the wedding, enjoy the ceremony and most likely see Josh standing up at the altar with the other boys. I would smile if he made eye contact with me and then the reception party would begin. I would stay with George and Lucy the whole time, dance with them, and have a great day.

Well, that was the plan at least.

I got out of bed and headed to the bathroom, having a wash and brushing my teeth. When I got out of the bathroom Lucy peered round her bedroom door and smiled at me widely.

"Today's the day!" She giggled excitedly and stepped out of her room, she was already in her dress.

"You didn't waste any time getting ready" I laughed, "but it looks lovely"

"I'm so excited, I couldn't wait to get into this dress" She said, telling me she had to do her hair and makeup and I needed to hurry up and get ready myself.

I laughed and walked into my room, looking at my dress that was hanging up on the wardrobe door. I decided to do my makeup and hair first and looked at myself in the mirror, this was going to be difficult.

I applied a little bit of makeup and then began to softly curl my hair, letting it fall in loose waves.

When I was finished I looked in the mirror and sighed, I had never been good with putting on makeup and I wasn't happy with how I had applied it today. I pulled out my remover wipes and took it all off, heading over to Lucy's room and knocking on the door softly. She opened it up and looked at me questioningly.

"Can you do my makeup please?" I asked her, giggling as her face lit up and she nodded, gesturing for me to come inside.

"Why aren't you wearing your dress yet?" She scolded me.

"I'm putting it on after" I laughed, sitting next to George whilst she grabbed all her makeup.

"Ok, you are not going to look in a mirror again until this is all done" She instructed, immediately getting started with my make over.

After what seemed like ages, she finally said she was finished and let George look at her work.

"You look...wow... different... good different" he giggled, his eyes wide as he looked at me. Lucy saw and hit him gently with her arm and he laughed and apologised. "Not as beautiful as you look though" he said to Lucy.

I hit him on the arm and made my face look sad, a small smile on my lips. "How am I supposed to win with you two" he giggled, flinging his arms in the air dramatically.

"You're not supposed to" Lucy laughed, giving him a quick kiss before pulling me out of the room and into mine to put on my dress.

I quickly slipped it on whilst she headed back to her room and promised I wouldn't look in a mirror until she was with me.

When I had zipped it up I walked over to her room and stepped inside, laughing as both their eyes widened as they saw me.

They didn't say anything, instead Lucy grabbed my hand and dragged me over to the full length mirror which was turned away from me so I couldn't see the reflection.

She grabbed the mirror and slowly turned it around.

I gasped when I saw my reflection, not believing for one minute it was me that I was looking at. My makeup highlighted my eyes and all my facial features and the dress complemented my figure completely. I looked completely different, a good different. I turned to the side to look at the back of my dress and the heart at the back was still visible under my long hair.

I stepped closer to the mirror, putting my hand on my face in an attempt to be certain it was me that I was looking at. Lucy giggled as I took my hand away and I turned around and gave her a huge hug, "thank you"

"Come on, let's head downstairs, I think mum and dad are ready now as well" she said, grabbing George's hand. He was now dressed in a black suit with a cute bow tie, and both of them looked perfect together.

The plan was for me to go in the car with mum and dad, before Josh picked up Lucy and George, so he didn't see my car.

I don't know why I was being so paranoid about him knowing I was going to the wedding before he saw me there, I think that maybe I wanted to be in control of the situation; as much as I could be.

We walked downstairs and into the living room, my mum and dad gasping when they saw us, "you both look beautiful" my mum squealed, grabbing her camera out of her bag. "Pictures!" She said, laughing as the three of us groaned.

My mum got us to stand in front of the fireplace and started taking photos of us; we got bored quickly and started to pull funny faces, much to her annoyance.

"Come on you lot, we need to go" my dad said finally, making us sigh in relief.

I grabbed my little clutch bag, making sure my phone was in there, and then put on my shoes. I had practiced walking in them all through the week so now they felt really comfortable and I could walk fine in them.

"We will see you two at the wedding then" my mum said to Lucy and George, hugging them both goodbye as we left. I turned around and waved, telling I would see them soon.

My dad decided to drive so I sat in the back of the car, trying to control my nerves as we got closer to the venue. Olly and Jaymi were getting married at a 5 star hotel and as we drove through the grounds my mouth dropped open as we went down the road. The trees on either side of the road were lined with fairy lights, guiding us towards the hotel which was huge. It was like a mansion, the cream bricks standing out against the green fields and trees that surrounded it. Pillars outside the entrance marked the double doors where we would enter and two doorman stood on either side to check our invitations.

Dad got parked up quickly and I stepped out of the car, looking up at the sky which was covered in heavy clouds that looked full of snow. It would be so magical here if the grounds became covered in white and I knew that was what Jaymi and Olly would be hoping for.

We walked to the entrance and showed the doormen our invitations. I shivered from the cold and they opened the door for us to enter. We walked in and were immediately hit by the warmth coming from the huge fire in the reception hall.

I looked around in awe and was amazed by just this room, it was amazing. We were led down the hall which was lined in flowers and I looked up at the huge marble staircase that circled up to the top of the mansion, and a huge statue stood in the middle of the stairs.

We headed into a room and I gasped at the beauty of it. It was huge and a white carpet led from the door all the way to the altar which was covered by an arch decorated in red roses. Seats were set out on either side of the carpet and we took our seats near the front, saving one for Lucy.

Behind the altar was a window that took up the whole wall, looking out over the gardens and the lake that was in the distance. The whole room looked like something out of a fairytale and before I knew it Lucy came and sat next to me, smiling up at me as she looked around the room.

I looked at her questioningly and she knew what I meant before I had to speak, "George and Josh went off to meet JJ, they are going to be coming in here and standing at the altar soon" she told me quietly.

"Ok" I said in a small voice, trying to prepare myself to see Josh again.

I decided to look straight ahead at the altar and try and count all of the roses around the arch, to stop myself from constantly turning around to see when he would appear.

I had counted 22 red roses when I felt Lucy stiffen next to me and I knew they were here. I reached into my bag to find my phone, trying to occupy myself rather than turning round straight away. I fiddled around in my bag longer than I needed to, I was trying to mentally prepare myself for this. I felt stupid reacting this way, but I couldn't help it.

When I finally sat up, my eyes trailed to the altar in front of us and made contact with Josh's, my heart stopped and he smiled his beautiful smile at me.
