I stood up and walked back up to the bed, settling into Josh's open arms and smiling as he wrapped his arms around my waist, pulling me close to him.

The beginning of the holiday video showed us walking through the airport. I smiled at the surroundings and I felt Josh smirk as the video showed me and Lucy having a small argument over who was going to carry the suitcase.

It then cut to the apartments, as we jumped off the coach. We all looked so excited, and if someo ne had told me back then that a few months later I would be watching this back nestled against Josh Cuthbert, I would have laughed in their face.

I giggled at the thought and Josh looked down at me, raising his eyebrow to ask what I found so funny. I shook my head at him and smiled, turning my attention back to the TV. As the video cut to me and Josh coming out of the apartments, he gently ran his hand along my arm and I looked up to see him smiling at the TV.

"We look good together" he whispered, making me blush and giggle.

"We do" I replied quietly, looking up to see his eyes sparkling.

He gently kissed me on my forehead and I smiled, turning back to the TV and laughing every now and then at the video.

When it finished I sat up and stretched, thinking about how far away the holiday seemed now.

"Whoa look!" George exclaimed, pointing out the window. I glanced up and saw the thick snowflakes falling fast outside. I jumped off the bed and stood by the window, it was getting really dark already but I could see it settling and it was building up fast.

I turned round excitedly and looked to Josh, "can we go out in it?"

He looked apprehensive at first but I looked at him pleadingly and he reluctantly agreed, "let me get my coat then"

He walked out the room and I heard him head downstairs to get his things. I unhooked my coat from the back of my door and dug out my scarf and gloves, turning to look at Lucy and George who were still sat on the bed.

"Are you both coming?" I asked.

"I can't because of my leg" Lucy said sadly, "but you should go, George"

"No, it's ok. I will stay here with you" he smiled at her.

"Ok then, well we will see you both later then" I said, waving goodbye and hurrying out of my room and down the stairs to the hallway.

I put my boots on and laughed as Josh started to head to the back garden, "this way" I giggled, pointing to the front door.

"I thought we were going to the garden" he asked, his face looking confused.

"I have a better idea" I laughed, grabbing his hand in mine and heading out of the front door. I shut it gently behind us and looked up at the snow falling around us. By now, only the street lamps illuminated the road and everything looked magical with the snow and the Christmas decorations on every house.

"Where are we going then?" Josh asked, swinging our arms beside us as we walked to the top of the street. The snow crunched beneath our feet and I pulled my scarf up closer to my neck to try and keep me warm.

"Be patient" I smiled, laughing as I looked up and saw him role his eyes.

He wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me closer towards him, "it's dark, no one will see us" he laughed. But I could sense there was an underlying sadness in his voice and I tried not to focus on that.

I led us up a couple more streets and eventually the realisation hit Josh, "we are going to the downs, aren't we"

"Yep" I giggled, slipping out from under his arm and running along the field. The downs were big hills surrounding our town, and when you got to the top, you could see the whole of the town, it was an amazing view.

I heard him running behind me and I laughed and squealed as his arms wrapped around my waist and he lifted me into the air, dropping down to the snow covered ground. He laid down on the ground and gently lifted me up to sit on top of him, my hair cascading down my face as I looked down at him. He gently tucked my hair behind my head and stroked my cheek with his thumb, "I have missed you so much" he said softly.

"I have missed you too, I have missed everything about you, Josh" I admitted, smiling softly as his hand cupped my cheek and I leant into it.

He gently took me off of him and leant me on the ground, leaning over me and bringing his head within inches of mine. He stared into my eyes with warmth, in complete contrast to the freezing ground below me, and brought his lips to mine. He placed a soft and tentative kiss to my lips and pulled away gently, not wanting to move too fast. But my mind was filled with the familiar touch, the sensation I had been missing for months. He was like a drug to me, and I was completely and utterly addicted.

I placed my hand around the back of his head and pulled him down closer to me, meeting his lips with mine and kissing him with more force. He seemed reluctant at first but I persisted and he eventually groaned in defeat and kissed me back passionately, using his hand to stroke my hair.

My mind was completely filled with him and the warmth that radiated from him made me forget we were in the middle of a snow covered field. It wasn't until I involuntarily shivered that Josh noticed I was on the snow covered ground. He gently pulled away from me and stood up, taking my hand in his and pulling me up so I was no longer on the floor. Without hesitation he wrapped his arms around my waist and kissed me again, holding me close to him.

Eventually I pulled away and smiled up at him, glad that the darkness covered my blushing cheeks. "Come on" I smiled, taking his hand in mine and walking up the huge hill. When we finally got to the top I was exhausted and we flopped to the ground, sitting close to each other to keep ourselves warm.

We looked out over the town and the sparkling lights against the snow looked beautiful. I sighed in contentment and rested my head on Josh's shoulder, smiling to myself as he wrapped his arm around my shoulder.

"I can't stand this any longer" Josh said suddenly, making me stiffen in surprise, "what can I do to convince you to be my girlfriend again. I need to be with you, Lily"

I sighed and leant away from him, looking up at him sadly. "I don't know. I feel exactly the same, but everyone keeps telling me that it's going to be exactly the same as last time, I don't think I can go through all of that again. I can deal with the attention, that doesn't bother me at all. It's just the constant hatred towards me, it's like they didn't realise how much we care about each other"

"They don't" he replied simply, sighing and resting his head on mine as I cuddled closer to him again.

We sat in silence for a while and I felt bad for what I had said, but I had to tell him exactly what I was thinking.

"We will figure something out" Josh said quietly, his voice pained but optimistic.
