Tears stream down my face as I shove my way into my house.
"Ethan?" Mom calls.
I run up the staircase, shove myself into my bedroom, slam the door, and lock it. I can't stop crying, and every part of my body is in pain.
"Ethan, sweetheart? What's wrong?" Mom asks, knocking on my door.
"G-go away!" I snap.
"Ethan? Is everything okay? Your principal called me earlier." She says.
"Mom go away!" I shout.
I've never been so aggressive in my life. I am not this person, but I was just in so much pain.
In that moment, everything started to fade, and then it was pitch black. Last thing I heard was a thud from my body hitting the floor.

"Mom! I'm home from practice!" I call.
"Ethan!? Oh my gosh!" Mom shouts in horror.
I drop my stuff and sprint upstairs. She's pounding on his door, he's not answering.
"What's wrong?"
"He came in crying. I tried talking to him, but he yelled for me to go away. I heard something fall, and now he's not answering."
"Ethan! Mom move."
She does. I jiggle the doorknob, locked. I kick his door, and it flies open. Ethan is passed out on the floor. "Oh my gosh!" She screams in horror.
"Mom, keep calm. Call for help."
She nods.
I rush over to him and drop to my knees. I turn him over, placing his head in my lap. "Ethan, Ethan answer me bud. Are you alright? Ethan." I check his pulse. "Ethan, cmon bro, answer me. Ethan. Ethan!"
