"Lukas, what about this one?" I ask my older brother.
"That's cute." He says. "But I want you to try this one on."
"Okay." I take the dress from him and enter the changing room.
It's always great to have a gay brother with a perfect sense of style.
I step out. "And?"
He literally drops his phone. "Girl I need that. IT'S LITERAL PERFECTION!"
I giggle. "So this is it?"
"It this is." He nods.
I giggle again. "Alright. Lemme change and I'll pay."
"Girl, I'mma pay, that's how perfect it is." He nods quickly.
I smile.

"Layla! Grayson is here!" Mom calls.
I glance at Lukas, who nods with a huge smile. "Wish me luck, Luka."
"You don't need luck, girl." He replies. "Go get him, tigress!"
I giggle, grab my phone, and head downstairs. Grayson smiles at me. "Wow, you look amazing." He rubs the back of his neck.
"Thank you, you look handsome." I smile.
"I, uh, I got you this corset." He offers it to me. I raise my hand to his and he slips it on.
"Have fun now, kids." Mom smiles. "Oh, wait! Lemme get a picture!"
"Mom-"
"Shh, just do it!" Mom squeals.
I roll my eyes and we pose.
When we finally arrive at the school, it's already packed.
"Is Ethan here?" I ask Grayson.
"I dunno."
I look around the entrance, and I spot Ethan with his friend, Wesley. I smile. "Hold my spot, Grayson." I walk away from him before he can say anything.
