MEERA'S POV

Kush has been really sweet than he could be and I supposed he can be. He has been of a good help.

A couple of weeks back, I thought all there was, was just an arrogant, spoilt and acerbic person behind the mask of an apparently seeming a good looking guy. Yeah, he's handsome if I can make peace with myself for thinking that.

Alan seemed really pissed off seeing him. I am pretty sure there's something between them. Those cold looks which they were giving each other were horrible.

" Mee, Where in the world have you lost? Who's the lucky guy you are thinking of ?"

" What non sense Tara. Have your food. Today was really a long day. Got drained out. "

Tara and I shared a brief chat about the things happening in our lives spoke about our entire days. She also had so much to share. She worked part time in an advertising company. She always has so much to share about her university and office affairs, lightning up our bland evening with her enthusiasm.

My office work was going steady. It was helping me to pay off my bills and expenses, and with God's grace a part of which went to my savings account. It was a pretty good plan in that sense. The full-time part-time schedule was hectic but effective, keeping me busy and on the other hand filling my pockets.

I told Tara about Ron and Jenny. She too agreed with me. She met them once and I talked about them elaborately on daily basis. Tara was my closest friend in Cleveland.
We both retarded to our beds. I was tired. Just then I received a text. It was from Jenny.

" Hi! Mee. Did you spoke to Ron? He is not picking my call."

I wasn't expecting her text, not after I was so upfront later this evening.

" No, I couldn't. But I will. Maybe tomorrow. It's late already. Take a good sleep. Good night."

" Hmmm... Okay. Good night."

Even her texts sounded depressing and lowly. She was definitely worried. I smiled and drifted to sleep. It was indeed long tiring day.

🌟🌟🌟

" Morning Mee. What a beautiful day, isn't it? "

I was in the Activity Room, preparing for the theme when Joe entered along with Paul, cheerful and gay like always.

Tara too left early for work. Kush still hadn't showed up.
Ron and Jenny were no where to seen. Sometimes even adults behave like kids. Fighting and mocking each other despite their feelings for each other, childishly upsetting and weird yet that's what makes us more human.

To act mature takes more courage than anyone can imagine.

Just them Kush entered. I smiled and he returned the warm gesture.

" So, Let's get started Meera. I have some ideas. What do you think we should do at the event. "

Addie, Adam, Paul and Joe were busily engrossed in their work. Jenny and Ron were still out of sight.

" I think we should give a global message to all through our performance. It can't be dance as we are just two people so we have to think something else. " I said.
