i know this may be kinda boring... but idk... lol ENJOY ANYWAY <3 thanks so much 4 reading :)

“Yeah…” I replied. I threw the chicken out because I probably wasn’t going to eat it anyway, “Where do you want to go?”

“Hm… We’ll see what appeals to me,” he smiled at me and took my hand. I grabbed my coat and we walked out of our apartment building.

“Let’s go… this way…” he said pulling me to our left. I obeyed and followed him. Surprisingly, no one noticed him. We turned down random streets until we found a small Italian restaurant.

“Let’s go here,” he said and he pulled me through the front doors. We walked up to the podium where a middle-aged man was standing. He looked up at us and forced a smile, “Hello, table for two?”

“Yes please,” Harry said. The man led us through the tiny restaurant and sat us down at a table near the back. We sat down across from each other and he gave us menus. We thanked him.

Harry smiled at me, “You hungry?”

“Yes! I waited like three hours for you and you probably ate already…”

            “Well…”

I bit my lip and smiled. I looked at the menu in front of me. It was the same as any other Italian restaurant I’d been to in my life. I knew what I was going to get without paying much mind to what was actually written down on the menu.

“Are you going to get anything?” I asked looking up.

“Probably not… the guys and I went out for burgers before. Niall ate like there was no tomorrow, but we don’t get surprised anymore.”

I nodded, “I’m still confused as to where all that food goes…”

            “Me too…”

I laughed a little and a waiter came to take my order. I got a diet soda and pasta and Harry only got water. I was such a little girl sometimes with the things I chose to eat at restaurants.

“So how was your day?” I asked.

“Alright… we have a concert tomorrow somewhere in Pennsylvania…”

            “Cool, I helped teenagers find clothes… I have a fun life…” I smiled.

            “It’s easier than mine…”

“I thought you’d be used to what you do by now,” I said looking at him. The waiter came with our drinks and we thanked him.

“Well I am used to it, but I don’t know… it’s just so repetitive and it’s the same thing over and over and we’re constantly moving… I’m happy we’re not on tour though…”

“Me too…” I said playing with the straw of my drink, “Then I’d be back to my old routine of doing nothing productive with my life besides going to work and getting paid.”

“You need more friends,” Harry teased.

            “Excuse me! I have friends…”

            “I know… Alyssa is interesting…”

I nodded smiling. She’d always been a little weird, but that’s why I loved her. And hey, I’m weird too. “We met in college and became best friends.”
