MAYA’S P.O.V.

We were called back into the dining room area and stood up waiting. The cake was brought out on a wheeled table and my jaw dropped. It was huge. I looked at Harry, then back at the cake, then back at Harry again. He smiled.

            “Like it?”

“Harry, it’s huge,” I said staring at it. There were a bunch of flashes from people taking pictures. I still couldn’t believe my eyes. It had flowers snaking around it. The cake had four tiers and it was pearl white which made the blue flowers really pop. We walked over to it and Harry was given a knife to cut it with. He put it on a plate and put a piece on his fork.

“Harry,” I said smiling and he brought the fork to my mouth. I ate it and smiled. He kissed me while it was still in my mouth. He pulled away and I did the same to him. The cake was cut up and everyone was given a piece. Family and friends walked over to us, both congratulating and saying how good the cake was. I smiled and Harry put his arm around my waist.

“I love you,” he whispered in my ear.

I nodded, smiling. Harry’s parents came over and we started talking.

“Maya, you look gorgeous,” Anne said smiling.

            “Thank you,” I said.

“Has Harry told you where he’s taking you on your honeymoon?”

“Oh, I totally forgot about that! Where are you taking me?” I asked poking him in his side. He smiled at me.

“It’s a surprise,” he wrapped his arm around my waist and I pouted. He continued talking with his parents and mine came over also. My mother pulled me aside.

“I’m so happy for you Maya,” she said tearing up.

“Mom, thanks. I’m going to miss you, but I love Harry…”

“I know you do… I just can’t believe my oldest daughter is finally married. You are all growing up way too fast.”

I smiled, “I’ll always be here if you need me mom,” I said and she hugged me.

“You look beautiful by the way,” she said with a smile.

“Oh, thanks,” I replied looking down at my dress. It was simple. I didn’t want anything over the top. It didn’t have any tulle because I hated that and it made the dress become like three feet wider than it needed to be. Instead, it was just a simple white dress with some sparkles around the waist. It was sleeveless. I loved this dress; it was so comfortable and I felt really pretty in it.

We went back over to Harry and his parents. The wedding reception was basically over. That was the end of my wedding. Before we left, one last slow song played and I dragged Harry back over to the dance floor to dance with me. I saw Louis and Madeline dancing together to my left and I was probably the happiest person in the world. Everyone was having a good time.
