Chapter 14: Will It Really Work?

"Um, Harry, can I talk to you for a second?" I asked pulling him outside. When we got outside I loud whispered to him "What the **** are you doing?! Are you TRYING to get us bankrupt?! First of all he is a billionaire with celebrity medical insurance, and we are the same. We also have a huge house, which means we have huge taxes for our huge house and a huge selection of cable channels and a huge electricity bill and a huge water bill. Not to mention we are throwing a HUGE, and shall I say, rather expensive WEDDING coming up!"

"Listen, I want to be friends with him." he pleaded. "Harry, you don't BUY friendship! He was willing to be friends with you before you gave him a check big enough to make me faint again!" "Fine. $500,000?"

"$10,000"

"400,00"

"20,000"

"300,000"

"30,000"

"200,000"

"30,000"

"FINE!"

We walked back into the room. "Hey Lou. We really want to give you $600,000, but we have to pay the bills and our big, expensive wedding is coming up..." he said embarrassed. "Oh no, take it! I was gonna give it back anyway!" Lou responded. "Man, I remember our wedding. Even if you have a small wedding, it is still a through-the-roof price!" Eleanor responded giggling with wide eyes.

"By the way, we weren't gonna give you NOTHING! We are gonna give you $30,000 instead of $600,000." I told him. "Okay, but your getting an extra big wedding gift!!!" Louis warned laughing. Then we hugged and left.

As me and Harry left, we didn't speak the whole ride home. When we got home, I went to my room, grabbed my laptop, and watched Netflix. About half an hour later, I got up to go to the kitchen to get a snack when I heard faint sobbing.

I traced it back to Harry's room. He was looking in the mirror and crying. I walked to him and gave him a hug from behind. "What's wrong, Hon?" I ask him. "Us," he looked down then back up at me. "Is this really gonna work between us? Lately, it doesn't seem like it is and..." he trailed off.

He wasn't seriously saying to call off the engagement?! " Hot tears (Oh God! Not again!) ran down my face. He picked me up and put me sitting down on the bed. He sat down next to me. "Jade, its your choice.  I love you so incredibly much, I would do anything for you. I love you so much...I'm willing to leave if you want to." he told me choking up again.

"Just tell me what to do, love, I'm lost." he told me his lip quivering. Why does he have to look so cute when he's sad??? I lied down with him and he hugged me. "I don't want you to leave. Please don't go." I sniffled into his chest. "Then we'll work it out. I promise." he said before we both fell asleep in each others arms.

                                                            *** 3 hours later***

As I woke up I looked at the clock. 8:29 pm. We missed dinner!!! I rubbed my eyes and gently shook Harry. "Hon, wake up. We missed dinner!" I told him yawning. If Niall was Harry, he would be using me as a launch pad right now! Haha! "5 more minutes, baby!" he complained shoving a pillow in his face.

"You. are. SO. Childish!!" I tell him, acting like a valley girl. When I got to the kitchen, I got the pasta (Penne), a big pot, and pink sauce. I went to the sink and filled the pot up halfway. I put it on he stove and sighed. Then I heard Harry singing. "You and I, we don't wanna be like them. We can make it till the end." I turned around and finished it. "No nothing can come between you and I, not even the gods above, can separate the two of us. No nothing can come between you and I." The we hugged. "The first time I heard that song was like 9 or 10 years ago. How did you remember?" I asked him.

"Because you've been reminding me of that song lately." we then kissed and kissed and kissed. Oh, i love those lips of his! "We can make it till the end, babe." he told me as he pulled away. "I believe you one hundred percent, baby" I told him hugging him and he wrapped me in his arms. I just wish life was like this. So perfect and caring and loving. But dreams are not reality.
