Chapter 16: Preparing
When I walked back in, I told him we were taking my grandmother with us to the Grammys, and he was surprisingly okay with it. "I could never be happier," he smiled and hugged me. "As long as I am with you, we could be at the gates of...down there... and I would be happy." "Oh, I like this new attitude, Harry!" I told him smiling and I lied back down on the bed.
We stayed up until 3:00 am and then fell asleep I each others arms. I wish that everything was like his embrace. Warm and loving, with a secure feeling, like anything could happen and he could protect me. I usually have trouble, or a little trouble, trying to fall asleep because of the many, many, MANY fears I have, but tonight I didn't have any trouble at all.
****1 week later****
In the morning I woke up and just stared at Harry for a while. He had his Daffy Duck pajamas on and his arms were sprawled out on my side of the bed since I had broke from his hug. He looked so innocent. So anyway, I walked back to my room, grabbed a turquoise tank top and a pair of sweatpants and my Starbucks hoodie. I didn't really dress up that much because I had to go today on a plane with Harry at about 2 pm to go to go to Vegas.
I know, the Grammys weren't for another week, but we had to work on my choreographing and what my song "Love is Blind" in which I decided to sing and wardrobe and hair and make up and...MAN, I need to catch my breath! So anyway, the basic point here is I am going on a plane and there is a ton of stuff to do and we only have one week to do it.
After I took a long, nice shower and got dressed, I started to make breakfast. I made something nice, not just cereal and milk. I made scrambled eggs, bacon, chocolate chip pancakes, and freshly squeezed orange juice. When I was making my last pieces of bacon, Harry walked out stretching out his arms. "Good morning, love! I see you are making a delicious breakfast there!" he said happily.
"Yup, just finishing up. Its a special day!" I responded happily as well. "Everyday is a happy day I have you!" he said smiling, picking me up and spinning me around and around. When he finally put me down, everything got serious. I quickly kissed him and we both said in harmony "I love you."
When we sat down with our breakfast, I could barely eat. Whenever I was excited I was never hungry. Have you had that feeling before? So anyway, I ate about half a chocolate chip pancake, a little bit of eggs, 3 pieces of bacon (I love bacon!), and half a glass of orange juice.
Harry was the opposite of me. Whenever he was excited, he couldn't STOP eating!!! In fact, he has only met my grandmother about 3 times, so he was excited, even if he wasn't performing. Once Harry finished my food, we ran to pack our bags. I packed my stuff then I packed my carry on.
I packed two new books I bought, 2 magazines, my tablet, my phone (obviously), my beats, my Sketchbook, and a picture that I brought with me everywhere. What does this picture look like that makes it so special? Well, it was the day in which I got engaged to Harry, the first time he met my grandmother, and all my family was there. It just felt so special becoming engaged in front of my family. I never knew how, but I knew when the time came, it would be perfect. And it was!
But now isn't time for talking and reminiscing! It was time to prepare! I walked into Harry's room and told him to act like a gentlemen and behave and all that. After that, I want to make lunch. I made a frozen pizza. Something quick. So anyway, I gathered all Beebee's stuff into her bejweled bag
I didn't give myself a lot, but I put 3 slices on a plate for Harry. He scarfed his down and I ate the rest of mine, and when we were done I got Beebee in her carrier. The perks of being a celebrity is I could bring any of my pets or anyone with me anywhere. So after that we were out the door. And that's when the surprise hit us, and what a mark it left.
