"Come on, Trek, keep up," called Spaw over her shoulder as she raced toward the shuttle that would take them to the USS Enterprise.

Trek turned his head as he heard Skull puffing behind him. He had a small case over his back as he limped forward, trying to carry all of his medical supplies that he always had with him. "Slow down, Spaw. What's the hurry," he huffed. "After all, it won't leave without it's healer trainee."

Spaw rolled her eyes as she turned around and shuffled backwards so that she could see her two friends. "You think that you're so important."

"I believe that he is," grunted Pulse as he joined the rambunctious pups and gave a huff that wasn't unlike Skulls.

They're so similar that they could be father and son. I'm glad that he's not my mentor!

Pulse grabbed  the case from Skull and helped him load it on the shuttle. Spaw then leaped on it by Trek and smiled as she saw her mother talking to Jock with their heads bowed. She couldn't hear what they were talking about and she really didn't want to.

"Spaw, sit by me," offered Trek as he patted the spot beside him.

Spaw wiggled her haunches as she leaped up beside him with Skull clamoring up on the other side. Skull began to groom his fur since it was ruffled from all of the running around in the morning. It had been sudden that they were going back on the Enterprise to bring back the man who had attacked Starfleet not once, but twice.

The shuttled began to lift as the three of them began to talk softly, since it was fairly quiet in the shuttle.

"I'm sorry about your dad," whispered Skull awkwardly as if he wasn't sure what to say. He wasn't exactly tactful for a healer. "I heard that it was brutal."

Spaw hadn't heard details and she didn't want to. But, she wasn't going to condemn him for it. "Thanks. He was a fantastic wolf and   will be missed." She had heard her mother say it, and that was the only reason that she knew how to sound so composed.

Trek licked her ear a bit in comfort as she lowered her head on her paws. She had tried to distract herself from her father's death, but the funeral and everyone rushing up to her to say how sorry they were wasn't helping. She was just glad that they were going to get back into some normalcy.

The shuttle came into the Enterprise and Spaw couldn't help but gawp in surprise. She loved this ship, but it was still so huge. She wagged her tail madly and nearly hit Skull right in the face.

"It's just a ship. What's so cool about that," Skull grumbled. However, Spaw saw that his eyes were glowing with pleasure. He was as excited as her, even though he wouldn't exactly say it.

Spaw then veered off to Jim, asking if she could have a more important role in bringing that murder down. However, before she could, she noticed that Jock was bristling when Galaxy faced him.

"I won't do it either! This awful thing shouldn't be on here. None of them should!" He was now spitting with rage, unlike anything that Spaw had ever seen.

Galaxy drew back with his ears twitching slightly. "Jock, it's not a big deal. Why are you so against this?"

"Why? Well, I'll tell you what, lass! I can't detect the fuel that's in there. It could have sever trouble for the Enterprise," explained Jock as he bared his teeth in a snarl. "I'm an engineer. Do you trust me or not?"

Galaxy didn't say anything as Scotty spoke. "I can't detect the fuel because it's classified. No specs no signature!"

Jim looked like he was ready to explode on Scotty and Jock. Galaxy looked the same way as she narrowed her eyes at the two of them. "Come on, Scotty. Please."

"If you're going to do this then we're going to resign," exclaimed Jock and Spaw couldn't help but gasp in shock.

"Do you except our resignation or not," Scotty nearly screamed.

"I do!"

Spaw didn't think that Jim even knew what he was saying by the shocked look that crossed his face. Jim looked down and gulped once more. "I do."

Scotty didn't say anything as he gave Jim his tablet. Jock dipped his head to Galaxy with nothing but admiration in his eyes. He then padded after Scotty with his tail twitching.

Spaw looked to his mother, but Galaxy didn't say anything.

Spaw cringed before she bounded after him. "Jock! Please, don't go."

Jock turned and looked to Spaw. "I have to, lass. I can't be here with something that I don't agree with. I have to fight for what I believe in."

Spaw looked at her paws. "Do you really think that they're dangerous."

"I don't know, lass. But, I would just tell you to be careful." That wasn't exactly making Spaw feel better as she licked her lips. "Here, hail me if you need anything."

Spaw looked into Jock's eyes before she touched her nose to his. Jock rumbled in pleasure. "Good luck, little one."

With that he shuffled after Scotty and she was left to wonder if she was truly doing the right thing.
