Spaw leaned forward, trying to see over Skull's shoulders. Skull then shook his head and growled slightly at her to find her own way of seeing.
Spaw made a face, hoping that Skull's anger was just confusion. She knew that he had just been through a traumatic ordeal, but she had no way of asking if he needed to talk. Skull wasn't a talkative wolf on a good day, let alone after this.
She moved away from Skull and over to Trek. Trek seemed to have a good space and he didn't mind to allow Spaw to stand beside him. She reared on her hind legs beside him and looked at the sleeping figure besides her. He looked to be frozen, but she wasn't sure for how long.
"What do you think happened to him," whispered Trek in her ear.
Spaw shrugged. "I don't think that anything happened to him. I think that this was done on purpose. I just don't know why."
"Are you going to try to wake them up," asked Galaxy as she looked to Pulse.
Pulse shook his head. "Are you kidding me? It would be way too difficult."
"Yeah, this technology is beyond me," confessed Bones as he continued to preform some tests.
Jim looked down at the frozen figure as well. "How advanced is it?"
Pulse tipped his head as he frowned and shook his head once more. "It's not advanced. It's ancient. Beyond ancient really. If we do this without the proper procedure then this could be disastrous."
Galaxy looked up to Jim and sighed heavily. "We have to talk to Kahn," she whispered.
Jim seemed to agree as he left quickly. Galaxy bounded after him, but Spaw wasn't about to be out of the loop. She and Trek continued forward and stalked after them as quietly as possible.
However, it wasn't long before Galaxy realized that something was up. She turned sharply and saw the pups creeping forward with their ears plastered against their heads and heads bowed. She sighed as she flicked her tail tip.
"Come here. I wasn't planning on having you coming, but I don't want you sneaking around either. Best just stay by me," sympathized Galaxy.
Trek and Spaw obeyed as they continued forward. They came up to Kahn's cage and Galaxy couldn't help but growl. Kahn seemed to see that as his opportunity to come to the edge.
"Is that your family," he asked as he gazed at Galaxy, Trek, and Spaw.
Galaxy stood between Kahn and the pups. "Yes, this is my family and you would do better not to mess with them," she growled with her lips peeled back in a short of snarl. "You've already taken enough!"
"Did you find what I was talking about," asked Kahn.
"Why was there a man in that torpedo," asked Jim stiffly.
Kahn looked at Jim intently. "There are men and women in each of those torpedoes. My crew was frozen long ago before Marcus work me up to express my savagery. I was then forced to construct those torpedoes to fit my crew, my family."
"Why would he do that," asked Galaxy.
"I don't know. He's your Admiral," pointed out Kahn stiffly.
Galaxy bristled in agitation. "Very well."
There was a sudden clamber of paws as a ginger and white wolf came in; a wolf that Spaw didn't know. "Captain, there's a signature of a ship and our systems aren't repaired yet."
"Alright, let's figure this out," Jim declared with a cold glance over his shoulder at Kahn.
Galaxy shot him one more growl before she bustled forward with Trek and Spaw at her side.
